Background / History

Chaos was one of the ferocious beasts born amid the baleful energy and remnants left upon the Primordial World. Among the fierce beasts, it followed the rule that strength determined everything. 12

It encountered Qiongqi, another peak Quasi-Saint ferocious beast and a long-standing rival. The two immediately fought, each seeking to devour the other and increase its own power. 12

During their battle, the newly born Three Pure Ones approached. Chaos and Qiongqi took interest in devouring the inexperienced Innate Divine Beings. Before Chaos could do so, Luo Hou arrived and killed Qiongqi with the Godslayer Spear. Chaos fled, but Luo Hou pursued and killed it as well. 12

Appearance

Chaos was a colossal beast, tens of thousands of feet tall.

• Resembled a yellow flesh sac.
• Had no seven orifices.
• Possessed six legs and four wings. 12

Chaos could create inverted illusions that confused moral distinctions and perception.

• Specialized in devouring cultivators' Primordial Spirits. 12

Devouring

Chaos sought to consume powerful beings to strengthen itself.

• Fought Qiongqi with the intent to devour it.
• Targeted the Three Pure Ones as newly born Innate Divine Beings. 12

Relationships

• Qiongqi — Rival ferocious beast; the two were evenly matched at peak Quasi-Saint and repeatedly sought to devour one another. 12
• The Three Pure Ones — Potential prey; Chaos and Qiongqi intended to devour them after encountering them during their battle. 12
• Luo Hou — Killer; Luo Hou pursued Chaos after slaying Qiongqi and killed it. 12

Story Role / Major Arcs
