Background / History
Before taking a name, Di Qiuli was known only by the title Imperial Auspicious Beast, a designation tied to the destiny carried by her Eye of Destiny rather than an identity of her own. After Mu Feng formally introduced himself within his spiritual space, she chose the name “Di Qiuli.” 18
She first encountered Mu Feng when Long Xiaoyao captured her during his expedition for Mu Feng’s soul rings. Mu Feng accidentally touched her forehead, activating an attribute-guidance connection that allowed them to experience portions of each other’s memories. Their shared secrets—particularly Mu Feng’s connection to the Holy Spirit Cult—made the encounter a matter of trust as well as fate. 10 12
Di Qiuli demanded that Mu Feng repay the benefit he received from their attribute guidance. He swore an oath to do so, and the resulting covenant created an intangible bond between them. 13 Later, she entered Mu Feng’s spiritual space through their intertwined destiny and intervened during his first Divine Ascent trial, suffering severe mental backlash in the process.
