Background / History

Aggron began as Jiang Jing's Lairon. It evolved after enduring triple-Gravity training in a Weighted Vest while fighting four Pokémon at once. Its evolution immediately made it the most physically imposing member of the group, though Jiang Jing reassured the others that it remained their “boss.” 174 175

Following evolution, Jiang Jing focused its training on straight-line burst speed to compensate for Aggron's comparatively low Speed. Its armor-like body, immense Defense, and escalating appetite became defining features of its early development. 175

As Jiang Jing accumulated rare resources, Aggron became one of his earliest Pokémon to cross major thresholds: Level 40, six-star talent, Mega Evolution, seven-star talent, and eventually Legendary-grade seven-star talent. Aggron is a huge, monster-like Pokémon covered almost entirely in silver armor. Its appearance becomes even larger and more heavily armed after Mega Evolution. 175 351

Aggron becomes increasingly domineering after evolving and is consistently portrayed as eager for direct confrontation. Its confidence is backed by endurance, but its enormous body has a cost: prolonged consecutive fights can heavily drain its stamina. Jiang Jing has recalled it strategically when it becomes exhausted rather than force it to continue. 286 289
