Background / History

Metagross was previously a Five-Star Metang trained by Jiang Jing. As a Metang, it was exceptionally diligent: nearly every known move had been pushed to Specialized mastery, and it showed rapid growth under the Lucky Egg's effect 166 211.

Its evolution occurred during an intense training battle. Metang refused to yield while facing attacks from Empoleon, Gengar, Corviknight, and Aggron, then lost consciousness after colliding head-on with Aggron's Take Down. The impact triggered its evolution into Metagross, fulfilling its ambition to finally enter formal Arenas and receive public recognition 247.

Immediately after evolving, Metagross absorbed a massive amount of Colorful Currents. This raised it from Five-Star to Six-Star Talent, granted three levels, and allowed it to absorb Kinesis alongside its Lucky Egg—making it capable of equipping two items at once 247. It later became one of Jiang Jing's first ordinary Pokémon to reach Seven-Star Talent after encountering Rayquaza at Sky Pillar 532.

Appearance

Metagross is a Shiny, silvery-white Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon with a body shaped like a flying saucer. Its normal coloration would be bluish-green, making its silver-white body especially conspicuous in battle 247 374.

Metagross is intensely competitive and ambitious. Before evolving, it endured a combined assault rather than concede defeat; after evolving, it openly sought a battle with Aggron to test its new power 247.

It takes pride in its strength and wants to stand on major stages. Its rivalry with Aggron remains a major motivation: the two repeatedly compete to surpass each other, and Metagross's breakthrough to Lv. 71 established it as Jiang Jing's strongest regular combatant at the time 247 458.

Despite its battle drive, Metagross is highly analytical. Its four brains form a parallel-processing neural network capable of rapidly calculating ways to defeat opponents and force them into disadvantageous situations 247.
