Background

Pangu Hall stands on Mount Buzhou and was formed from Pangu’s skullcap. Although it appears to be a single hall, it contains an entire world. The Twelve Ancestor Witches live there, each with a hall of their own 2.

Dijiang gradually refined the hall’s restrictions, gaining the ability to control it after cultivating the Law of Strength. He then brought the Witch Clan inside to keep its members safe and out of the struggle with the Demon Clan. When the migration was complete, the clan vanished from the Primordial Wilderness 9 11 12.

Dijiang used Pangu Hall as the foundation for the Thirty-Six Heavens, inhabited worlds formed from Sea-Calming Pearls. Their resources supported clansmen’s cultivation up to the Golden Immortal Realm; those who advanced beyond that point entered Pangu Hall’s main world 13.

Appearance

Pangu Hall resembles a great hall from outside, but its interior contains a world 2.

• The Twelve Ancestor Witches have individual halls within it, including Dijiang’s Spatial Hall 2.
• The Thirty-Six Heavens appear above its inner world like small stars, though each contains an inhabited world 13.
• A Blood Pool formed from Pangu’s heart is also located within Pangu Hall 74.

Abilities

Concealment and isolation

• Pangu Hall shields those inside from heavenly divination; even Heavenly Dao Hongjun cannot deduce the Ancestral Shamans’ secret Primordial Spirit cultivation there 8.
• It cuts intruders off from outside Dao power. Zhunti cannot borrow the Heavenly Dao’s power inside, and the three Dao Lords later lose their connections to their Great Daos there 29 125.
• Limit: Tongtian’s Four Swords of Immortal Slaying can still connect to the Heavenly Dao from within the hall 83.

Detection

• Malice Detection reveals hostile intent, while Seamless Awareness lets Dijiang sense information and disturbances associated with the Primordial World 34.
• Universal Spirit Communion extends perception from heaven and earth down to a speck of dust. Together, these abilities allow Dijiang to detect Ancestral Dragon after he slips inside 37.
• During the Witch Clan’s migration, the hall’s restrictions reject infiltrators and expose concealed spirits and spies among the arrivals 11.

Defense and combat support

• Dijiang can use the hall to disrupt space, gravity, and elemental forces around an intruder 27.
• The hall empowers the Pangu Phantom summoned by the Twelve Heavenly Gods and Demons Grand Formation and can hold an incoming strike still 31 32.
• Its defenses are formidable but not absolute: Ancestral Dragon infiltrates with a secret art, and three spatial-temporal vortices later breach its restrictions 37 125.

Notable Events

• Tongtian’s visit: Dijiang prepares to suppress him with the other Ancestral Shamans and Pangu Hall if he acts against the Witch Clan 13.
• The Western Saints’ incursions: Zhunti discovers that entry severs his access to Heavenly Dao power; on a later visit, he finds the hall strengthening the Pangu Phantom 29 31.
• Pangu’s intervention: Pangu draws power through the hall to aid Dijiang’s cultivation 52 53.
