Background / History

Dijiang was severely injured during the first Witch-Demon War after taking a blow from Eastern Emperor Taiyi's Chaos Bell to protect his siblings. He spent ten years bedridden, during which he experienced a dream of life as a Blue Star corporate worker named Di Jiang. In that dream, Primordial World novels revealed the Witch Clan's future destruction in the Demon-Witch Calamity. 1

When Hongjun decreed that demons would rule the heavens and witches manage the earth, Dijiang recognized the order as a path toward the Witch Clan's ruin. The Cowering System then offered him three choices; he chose to remain hidden, receiving a Quasi-Sage Pangu Primordial Spirit and the knowledge contained within it. 1

He used a false appearance of lingering injury to persuade the militant Ancestral Witches to delay war with the Demon Clan. During a thousand years of seclusion on Mount Buzhou, he cultivated the Spatial Law, refined pills and artifacts, acquired the Godslaying Spear, and obtained a secret art allowing the Witch Clan to cultivate primordial spirits. 2 4

When his siblings finally rebelled against his policy of inaction, Dijiang deliberately provoked them into attacking. He defeated Zhu Rong, shattered the combined Ten Directions Annihilation technique, and revealed Pangu's Primordial Spirit to establish unquestioned authority over the Twelve Ancestor Witches. 5 6

Dijiang later collected Pangu Essence Blood from his siblings to construct the Law of Strength, created twelve indistinguishable Ancestor Witch clones, and relocated the Witch Clan into Pangu Hall and the Thirty-Six Heavens. This concealed the clan's true location and strength from the Demon Clan, Sages, and other hostile forces. 8 12 13

As external factions repeatedly sought to force the Witch Clan into the conflict, Dijiang turned Pangu Hall into an increasingly fortified refuge. He repelled Zhunti and Jieyin through the Twelve Heavenly Gods and Demons Grand Formation and displayed Pangu Hall's ability to suppress Sage-level power. 27 31 33

When numerous factions besieged Pangu Hall, Dijiang escalated the conflict by using temporal-spatial methods to release ferocious beasts sealed across space and time. He used the resulting Beast Calamity to disrupt the Primordial World's existing balance while continuing to cultivate within Pangu Hall. 43 45 50

Personality

Dijiang is cautious, calculating, and openly distrustful of the Heavenly Dao, the Sages, and the apparent destiny imposed on the Witch Clan. Having learned of the clan's original fate, he rejects heroic confrontation in favor of long-term survival, cultivation, concealment, and preparation. 1 2

He is willing to deceive and provoke even his own siblings when he believes it necessary. He feigned an unhealed Chaos Bell wound, manipulated the Ancestral Witches into accepting his authority, and used Pangu's name to make them follow his commands. 3 6 7

Despite this ruthlessness, Dijiang consistently invests in the Witch Clan's survival and advancement. He refines pills, trains Great Witches through his incarnations, grants cultivation guidance, shelters the clan within Pangu Hall, and shares the Chaos Pearl with the newly ascended Witch Sages. 7 18 42

Abilities & Skills

Pangu's Primordial Spirit

Dijiang possesses a Primordial Spirit carrying Pangu's aura, combat experience, cultivation techniques, and knowledge from Pangu's Sage Realm. Its appearance convinced the other Ancestral Witches to recognize his authority. 1 6

  • Provides knowledge of alchemy, artifact refinement, formations, heavenly-secret divination, and secret techniques. 1
  • Enables the complex fusion of twelve laws into the Law of Strength. 21 22 29
  • Lets him wield a primordial spirit despite the Witch Clan's traditional lack of one. 6

Spatial Law and Temporal-Spatial Arts

Dijiang's primary innate path is the Spatial Law, which he developed through the Cowering System and later applied to transportation, concealment, and battlefield control. 2 4

  • Opened spatial passages to dispatch an avatar to rescue endangered Witch Clan groups. 10
  • Moved the Witch Clan and his clones across the Primordial World at extreme speed. 12
  • Escaped Zhunti's Ultimate Bliss Cushion by shattering space. 28
  • Used the Supreme Temporal Spatial Art to release ferocious beasts imprisoned across space and time. 45

Law of Strength

Dijiang's central cultivation achievement is the Law of Strength, formed from the fusion of twelve laws and developed with Pangu Essence Blood, Pangu's experience, and the Chaos Pearl. 8 22 29 34

  • Allows him to overpower the combined attacks of the other Witch Sages with his physical body. 42
  • Can be transmitted to his External Incarnations and used to empower the Pangu Phantom. 29 32
  • Became increasingly complex after he merged over a thousand acquired laws into it. 50

External Incarnation Technique

Using Void Nether Stone and Pangu-derived techniques, Dijiang created incarnations and later twelve Ancestor Witch clones modeled on himself and his siblings. 3 8

  • His clones replicate the aura, laws, and physical bodies of the Twelve Ancestor Witches. 12
  • Pangu Hall was integrated into the clones, making them difficult to distinguish even through Sage-level deduction. 12
  • His incarnations act as fighters, trainers, artifact refiners, pill refiners, and formation builders. 14 18
  • He uses incarnations to meet hostile visitors while concealing his true body. 20 27

Pangu Hall Mastery

After constructing the Law of Strength, Dijiang gained the qualifications to control and refine Pangu Hall. Its functions form the foundation of the Witch Clan's hidden territory and defenses. 11

  • Malice Detection identifies hostile infiltrators and hidden enemies among Witch Clan members. 11 34
  • Seamless Awareness gathers information from throughout the Primordial Wilderness through Pangu's scattered power. 34
  • Universal Spirit Communion allowed him to detect Ancestral Dragon despite his infiltration methods. 37
  • Can wield Primordial Power and suppress Sage-level power within the hall. 33

Formations and Pangu Phantom

Dijiang uses the Twelve Heavenly Gods and Demons Grand Formation with the other Ancestral Witches or their incarnations to summon a Pangu Phantom. 28 31

  • The Pangu Phantom can strike with an illusory axe empowered by the Law of Strength. 28 29
  • The formation originally sustained three axe strikes, but Dijiang enhanced it with the Law of Strength and Pangu Hall's Primordial Power. 32
  • He established the Thirty-Six Heavenly Dipper Gods-and-Devils Formation to nourish and protect the Thirty-Six Heavens. 13

Alchemy and Artifact Refinement

Dijiang learned alchemy and artifact refinement from Pangu's Primordial Spirit rather than relying solely on physical cultivation. 1 3

  • Refined the Hundred-Turn Golden Elixir, described as ten times more effective than the Nine-Revolution Golden Pill. 3
  • Created pills that healed Zhu Rong and helped multiple Ancestral Witches improve their laws. 7
  • Produced weapons, artifacts, and other cultivation resources during his thousand-year seclusion. 4
