When Roy returned to the cabin behind the mountain, he found Misdreavus chattering away at Primeape, though he had no idea what she was saying.

Primeape waited quietly by the door for Roy to come back. As for Misdreavus's endless prattle in his ear, he ignored it completely.

Misdreavus wasn't bored, either. Just as she was about to tell Primeape about her life before Roy came to the Academy, she suddenly sensed Roy's presence.

"Misdreavus!"

She turned and rushed toward Roy, tugging at his clothes as she tried to lead him toward the back of the mountain.

"Misdreavus!"

She'd promised to take Roy to her home today.

"Got it. Let me feed Primeape first."

This time, Roy paired Universal Pokéblocks with Pokéblocks meant for healing.

Primeape had never been treated this well before. When he'd been with Headband Guy, he'd only ever eaten leftovers, or, if he was lucky, a Berry.

Seeing Roy about to leave again, Primeape looked reluctant to part with him. He wanted to go out with Roy too, but he couldn't train or return to his Poké Ball in his current state.

Roy thought for a moment, then casually played IQ's video of the Martial Arts Tournament on his Communicator.

Primeape was instantly captivated by Hitmonlee and Poliwrath's fighting techniques on the screen.

That took care of that.

Roy followed Misdreavus, easily climbing over the iron fence to the place where Flutter Mane had nearly killed him.

After winding along the mountain path, Roy finally reached the area above Misdreavus's home.

Misdreavus's home was a naturally formed cave in the cliff behind the mountain. She skillfully drifted into it.

Worried that Roy might lose track of her, she waited at the entrance and called for him and Litwick to come in.
