Kaido glanced at the words on the scroll, without looking at them closely. "Fine."

"And another thing," Fugaku said, taking back the scroll and handing it to Taoho, "the Samurai class of Wano Country has been destroyed."

Those warriors under your command who are willing to stay can become ordinary citizens, farming or doing business as they please.

Those who don't want to stay will leave with the second batch.

The fiefdoms of the Daimyo were all annexed by the public.

"The Daimyo himself said, 'Those who wish to stay will be treated the same as the samurai. Those who do not wish to stay must leave within three days.'"

Kaido nodded. "I'll talk to the Daimyo. There are a few old fogies who might cause trouble, but I can handle them."

"Let me know if you can't control it," Fugaku said. "Our people are still here."

Kaido grinned, but the shape of his mouth hardly resembled a smile.

"No need. I've ruled Wano Country for so many years, can't I handle this little thing?"

Fugaku didn't say anything more.

He turned and walked towards the shore. After a few steps, he turned to Setsuna and said, "Change the flag."

In Setsuna, he led several Night Owl Guard up to the highest watchtower on Onigashima.

A flag of the Beasts Pirates hangs atop the tower, featuring a blue skull and bull horns pointing upwards on either side.

He walked to the flagpole in Setsuna, lowered the flag, folded it neatly, and placed it aside.

Then he pulled a new flag from his pocket; it had a black background and a vermilion Uchiha Clan Crest.

He tied the flag to the rope, pulled it up, and the flag unfurled in the morning breeze, fluttering loudly.

The Beasts Pirates members on the shore looked up at the new flag.

Several people clenched their fists tightly, but no one moved.

Kaido looked up for a moment, then looked away.

"Alright." He turned around and waved to the people behind him. "Everyone, disperse. Those who need to register, register; those who need to pack their things, pack your things. Don't stand here anymore."

The crowd began to disperse.

Some people walk slowly, some people walk very fast.

Queen remained standing still, with Jhin beside him. The two watched the departing crew members, neither of them speaking.

After a while, Queen spoke.

"Brother Jin."

"Um."

"Are we really going to that Earthly Chief Guard in the future?"

Jin tilted his head slightly.

You want to go?

Queen thought for a moment.

"I don't know. I haven't decided yet."

Jhin pushed his mask up, revealing half of his face.

"Let's take a look first. No rush. We have three days anyway."

Queen didn't say anything more.

He lowered the mechanical arm to his side and followed Jhin into Onigashima.

Kaido one left on the shore.

He stood on the reef, watching the new flag flutter in the wind for a while.

Then he jumped off the rocks and walked into Onigashima.

They walked slowly, their wooden clogs making a dull thud on the sand.

He took a few steps, tilted his head, and glanced at the gray-white figure on the shore. Fugaku was facing away from him, talking to Yaoyu.

Kaido withdrew his gaze and continued walking inside.

The afternoon on Origin Island was quiet.

When Ban stepped onto the shore, the wind on the island was blowing from the other side of the woods, carrying a familiar scent of grass and trees.

He walked along the path he had walked countless times deeper into the tribe's territory. The trees on both sides of the path were taller than when he last came back, their branches and leaves overlapping, blocking out the sun so that only a few rays of light could get through.

Several Heavenly Star Guard patrolling the roadside saw him, stopped, and bowed in salute, but Ban waved his hand and didn't stop.

The laboratory is located on the north side of the clan's territory, in a gray-white stone building with the door half-closed.

Madara pushed open the door and went inside; only Izuna Uchiha was inside.

He sat at a long table with an open scroll of spell diagrams spread out on it, and several bottles of potions and stacks of papers covered in writing piled up beside him.

He was writing something on a piece of paper with his head down when he heard the door open and he looked up.

"They've arrived."

"Um."

Madara walked to the table and glanced down at the scroll of spell diagrams.

The words on it were densely packed, and some parts had been revised again and again, with several layers of ink.

He pointed to a mark on the edge of the map.

"The Impure World Reincarnation has been modified to this extent?"

"Almost there." Izuna Uchiha put down his pen and pushed the jutsu diagram toward Madara. "The reincarnation accuracy is much higher than before, Chakra consumption has decreased by 30%. If I had another six months, I could probably perfect it to over 90% accuracy."

Ban looked at the technique diagram but didn't reply.

Izuna Uchiha waited for a while, and seeing that he didn't speak, she pulled the drawing back, rolled it up, and placed it on the table.

He stood up and dusted off the hem of his clothes.

"Start?"

"Start."

Izuna Uchiha walked to the open space inside the laboratory and stood still.

Ban followed him and stood in front of him.

The two stood facing each other, two steps apart. Izuna Uchiha had his hands hanging at his sides and his head tilted slightly back.

"Logically, the removal of the Impure World Reincarnation body should be handled by the caster. However, since you possess the Rinnegan, you can directly overwrite the Impure World Reincarnation contract." Izuna Uchiha's tone was calm.

"The technique doesn't need to be too complicated. The key is to sever the reincarnation contract and then use the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to restore the body. You're more familiar with this than I am."

"Hmm," Madara responded.

He raised his right hand, Six-Tomoe Rinne Sharingan slowly rotated in his eye socket. The power of his eye surged from his pupils and condensed into a layer of dark purple light membrane in his palm.

He didn't rush to make a move, but glanced down at Izuna Uchiha.

"It might hurt a little."

"The Reanimated Body feels no pain," Izuna Uchiha said. "Come on then."

Ban didn't say anything more.

He thrust his right hand forward, the light membrane in his palm touching Izuna Uchiha's chest. His eye power seeped into the Impure World Reincarnation body through the light membrane, beginning to sever the contract.

Izuna Uchiha's body trembled slightly, and a few paper-like fragments peeled off his shoulder, floating in the air for a moment before dissipating.

Ban increased his pupil power output, accelerating the cutting speed.

Izuna Uchiha's body began to disintegrate from the edges towards the center, his grayish-white skin from the Impure World Reincarnation peeling off piece by piece, revealing the dark void beneath.

Then Ban raised his left hand.

"Heretical Path - Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique"

His voice was calm, and the color of the Chakra surging from his palm changed from dark purple to a warm light gold.

The Chakra flowed into Izuna Uchiha's crumbling body, filling the gaps layer by layer, skin, muscles, and bones, inch by inch, rebuilding from his feet upwards.

Izuna Uchiha's body was reshaped in the pale golden light, from his toes to his calves, from his calves to his waist and abdomen, from his waist and abdomen to his chest, from his chest to his neck, and from his neck to the top of his head.

His eyes were closed, and the outline of his face became clearer, his skin changed from gray to normal flesh color, and his hair changed from dry to shiny.

The entire process lasted less than half an incense stick's time.

When the pale golden light dissipated, Izuna Uchiha stood in the same spot, now a living person.

His eyes were closed, his chest rose and fell slightly, and his breathing was shallow and light, like the first breath of a newborn.

Ban withdrew his hand, took a step back, and quietly watched him.

Izuna Uchiha moved his finger first.

He clenched his fist, then relaxed it, repeating this twice.

Then he raised his hand and touched his face, from his forehead to his chin, and then touched his neck.

He took a deep breath, then another, as if confirming something.

Finally, he opened his eyes, looked down at his hands, turned them over to look at his palms, and then turned them back to look at the back of his hands.

"Finally, I can smell it again," he said.

Ban's lips twitched slightly.

What does it smell like in the lab?

"The potion, the wood, and that earthy smell on you." Izuna Uchiha looked up, a smile on his face, his voice carrying a lightness he hadn't heard in a long time. "How long has it been since you took a bath?"

I washed it the day before yesterday.

"You washed it the day before yesterday and it still smells earthy? Where did you go and crawl into the dirt?"

Ban didn't respond to that.

He tilted his head and watched Izuna Uchiha move his arms and legs.

Izuna Uchiha jumped twice on the spot, stretched his shoulders, and twisted his neck, his joints making a series of crisp sounds.

He bent down and touched his knees, then straightened up and patted his chest.

"How are you feeling?" Madara asked.

"It feels heavy," Izuna Uchiha said. "When Impure World Reincarnation, my body felt light and weightless, like I had no roots. Now that I suddenly have weight, it's a little strange walking. But it's quite nice."

He took another breath. "Being able to smell, feel the wind, and sense temperature—that's better than anything else."

Ban looked at him, the corners of his mouth still curved upwards, neither turning up nor down.

He waited until Izuna Uchiha had finished moving around before speaking, "How much do you know about Natsu's situation?"

"They probably all know. Natsu regularly sends people over with intelligence." Izuna Uchiha walked to the table and put the scroll of spell diagrams into the drawer.

"The World Government is gone, Imu is gone, the Navy is gone, the Celestial Dragons are gone. Totto Land has surrendered, Wano Country has surrendered. Whitebeard is cleaning up the mess in the North Blue Whitebeard."

He pushed the drawer back. "When are you going to the New World?"

"Tomorrow."

Izuna Uchiha turned and glanced at him. "Leaving tomorrow? Not even a day to rest?"

"Bring Teach's head back within five days," Ban said. "Today counts as being on the way."

Izuna Uchiha didn't say anything more.

He gathered the medicine bottles on the table, put them in the cabinet, closed the cabinet door, and turned around.

"Alright. You go ahead. Fugaku is keeping an eye on things in Wano Country, Totto Land and the other three are dealing with things in Whole Cake Four Blues, and Nightingale Guard are on the run in the Yashiro. I'll stay here to watch over Origin Island and finish up the improvements to the Impure World Reincarnation technique."

Ban glanced at him.

"You've just been resurrected, shouldn't you stay for a couple of days?"

"Why stay?" Izuna Uchiha waved his hand. "During those months of Impure World Reincarnation, all I did was draw jutsu diagrams in the lab. I was so bored I was practically rusting. Now that I can move again, if I don't find something to do, I'll be back to drawing diagrams."

Ban didn't try to persuade him further.

He took a sealed scroll from his pocket and handed it over.

"This is the defense adjustment plan for Origin Island that Natsu asked me to give you. Take a look and tell him directly if there are any changes you need."
