Prelude to the Third Task

"Done..." Lockhart put away his wand and wiped the sweat from his brow.

At that, the doctors and nurses entered the ward together and began examining the two patients. Muya and the others stepped outside.

Once the examination was complete, the doctors were delighted to discover that Neville's parents had recovered to the condition of normal wizards and would wake as early as tomorrow morning.

Neville's grandmother clutched Muya's and Lockhart's hands, her eyes red as she thanked them.

"Thank you, Ya Ya, and thank you too, Mr. Lockhart." Neville also thanked them from the side.

Muya waved her hand and quietly slipped behind Dumbledore.

Muya returned to Hogwarts first, while Dumbledore stayed behind to deal with a few matters.

Exams were coming up again, but Muya was not worried at all. What she needed now was to focus on reviewing History of Magic, since Professor Binns's lessons were so dull and tedious that they even reminded her of her own history teacher.

Fred and George received their birthday presents for the year. They were so happy that they went wandering through the Forbidden Forest at night again.

In the end, though, Tom's people fished them back out and returned them to the castle.

Time slowly passed, and soon it was June.

The atmosphere in Hogwarts Castle became tense and excited once more. Everyone was eagerly anticipating the third task. Although Harry had won the first two tasks, the final one would determine the victor.
