Draco gave a "hmph," looking neither sad nor disappointed.
"Mm-hm, just what I'd expect from the young master!" Muya enthusiastically chimed in.
"It was nothing." Draco brushed back his hair, the tips of his ears turning red.
Blaise precisely ruined the warm moment. "Ya Ya, I was wondering if you're free over Christmas. I'd like to invite you to my house."
Theodore and Draco both turned to look at Blaise.
He seemed not to notice at all and continued smiling.
"Sorry, Blaise." To everyone's surprise, Muya turned down his invitation.
Blaise's smile faded as he asked Muya, "Ya Ya, do you have something going on?"
Muya nodded. "I've already promised Fred and George that I'll go to their house for Christmas."
"What? Those two Weasleys got there first?!" Draco said furiously.
However, Muya added, "I might have time during the summer holidays."
"You have to come to my birthday party this summer." Thinking about how he'd sent Muya an invitation to his last birthday party but never saw her show up, he'd thought at the time that she hadn't truly considered him a friend.
"Okay, I'll definitely come." Muya awkwardly scratched her head.
"Um, Theodore, why haven't you said anything?" Muya turned to look at Theodore, who had his head slightly lowered.
He froze for a moment. "...I'm fine."
After Flying class ended, Muya hurried straight to the Black Lake. Before long, she spotted Calori sitting on the grass.
Muya quickened her pace, and by the time she reached Calori, she was bent over with her hands on her knees, catching her breath.
"Why did you run over?" Calori's clear spring-like voice carried a hint of amusement.
Muya sat down and looked at Calori. "Because I saw you were here, and I didn't want to keep you waiting too long."
