Personality

Gojo is habitually flippant, teasing, and casually irreverent. He treats major arrivals and life-threatening confrontations with jokes, such as presenting Yuji from a wooden box or asking for Kikufuku immediately after arranging a final battle with Sukuna. 2 36

Beneath that demeanor, he is acutely protective of his students. He responds seriously to Shiyue's warning about Shibuya, worries about sending students into dangerous battles, and openly admits that Yuji's previous death affected him deeply. 11 12 37 His anger toward Jujutsu Headquarters ultimately drives him to destroy the corrupt higher-ups and begin restructuring the society they controlled. 43 44
