Earth-65, Queens apartment.

The wind and rain continued to pour in through the French windows, which had a large hole in them.

Sheriff George Stacy sat on the sofa, looking at the mess in the living room, and his old face twitched involuntarily.

Jiang Li smiled and walked to the huge gap in the wall.

Jiang Li raised his left hand and pressed his thumb against the watch face.

With a flash of green light, Jiang Li transformed into a mechanical alien whose entire body was composed of bronze gears and springs. He had a spring-loaded knob on his head and a green dial embedded in his chest.

Galvan System, Chronosapien.

[Clockwork]!

"Time is sometimes more effective than glue."

Jiang Li raised his mechanical arm, and the spring on his head began to rapidly reverse. A pale green Time Ray shot out from his palm, enveloping the entire broken wall and the shards of glass scattered on the ground.

The next second.

Sheriff George Stacy's eyes widened.

The bricks, glass shards, and even curtain fragments swept away by the wind that were scattered in the rainwater miraculously flew back to their original positions from all directions, defying the laws of physics, just like a movie playing in reverse!

Click click click.

Less than five seconds.

The damaged load-bearing wall was perfectly restored, even the slightest crack in the glass disappeared, and the carpet was as dry as ever. It was as if Daemos had never broken in at all.

Jiang Li deactivated his transformation and turned around. "How's my cooking?"

Sheriff George Stacy stared, mouth agape, at the intact window, then at Jiang Li. He'd been a policeman his entire life, but tonight his worldview had been utterly shattered.

"Alright. This old man can't interfere in your young people's affairs."

George Stacy stood up, walked up to Jiang Li, and his expression became extremely serious.

"No matter what monster you're going to fight, I have only two requests. First, protect Gwen. Second, come back to me alive."

"No problem," Jiang Li nodded in agreement.

Gwen stepped forward and gave her father a tight hug.

After saying goodbye to his father-in-law, Jiang Li led Gwen out of the apartment and onto the rooftop of the building.

"Shall we go straight to Earth-001 now?"

No rush.

Jiang Li raised his wrist and entered a piece of extremely complex low-level code on the watch face.

Buzz.

An invisible green energy barrier instantly spread from the apartment, completely locking and encrypting the dimensional coordinates of the entire Earth -Earth-65.

"Since Daemos has been here, it means the coordinates of this universe have been exposed."

Jiang Li lowered his hand. "I just added a firewall to your universe. Now, no one but me can forcibly open the portal to here. You don't need to worry about your father-in-law's safety."

Gwen felt a surge of warmth in her heart as she looked at Jiang Li's meticulous arrangements.

"Alright." Jiang Li pressed the space knob on the dial.

"Now, it's time to visit someone else's house."

at the same time.

Deep within the Multiverse, Earth-001 (the Loomworld).

This is a planet shrouded in Eternity mist. Towering Gothic castles stand on desolate plains.

This is the home planet of the Inheritors.

Inside the grand hall deep within the castle.

The patriarch of the family, Solus, sat on the throne. He wore a magnificent robe with gold trim, and his hair was completely white. Although he was old, the life force within him was as unfathomable as a vast ocean.

Beneath the throne, Morlun was elegantly wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth with a handkerchief.

"Morlun, Daemos has been in Earth-65 for a long time," Solus said in a low voice. "How could it take him so long for just a Ghost-Spider?"

"Father, Daemos has always enjoyed torturing his prey; he may be reveling in the pleasure of torture," Morlun sneered.

Sudden.

The space in the center of the main hall was forcibly torn apart.

Thump!

A shriveled, emaciated, enormous body rolled out of the crack and slammed onto the cold floor like a lump of mud.

"Help... help me..."

A faint groan was heard.

Morlun and Solus's expressions changed, and they instantly appeared beside the body.

When they saw the face of the person on the ground, the temperature in the entire hall seemed to drop to freezing point instantly.

It's Daemos.

Daemos, the butcher known as the strongest and most ruthless in the family, was now nothing more than a skin and bones, a dried-up corpse! Ninety percent of the immense life force within him, enough to destroy a planet, had been drained!

"Daemos?!" Morlun's pupils dilated in shock. She grabbed his withered collar. "Who turned you into this grotesque mess? That Ghost-Spider couldn't possibly have this kind of power!"

"No... it's not a spider..."

Daemos trembled all over, his eyes filled with an extreme fear he had never felt before.

"It was a human dressed in black... He... He drained me dry... He's the real monster..."

Upon hearing the words "humans in black," Morlun's face instantly turned extremely grim.

"Not only is he not dead, but he dares to provoke us?" Morlun gritted his teeth.

"No..." Daemos gripped Morlun's wrist tightly, his nails breaking from the force.

He asked me to pass on a message...

"What did you say?" Chieftain Solus, who had remained silent until now, spoke with icy eyes.

"He said... we should wash our necks clean and wait... he would come here personally and drag us out one by one... and stomp us to death..."

After saying this, Daemos completely fainted.

The main hall was deathly silent.

For millennia, the Inheritors have been a nightmare for the Multiverse, avoided by all. This is the first time anyone has dared to issue such an arrogant threat of Carnage against them!

"Arrogant reptile! Does he think he can challenge the entire family just because he drained Daemos dry!" Morlun laughed in fury, a terrifying blood-red aura erupting from his body.

"Quiet, Morlun."

Solus stood up, a savage killing intent flashing in his aged eyes.

He walked to the center of the main hall and looked up in a certain direction high up in the castle. That was the core of the family—the "Clone Resurrection Pool".

"Since the prey is willing to deliver itself to our doorstep, then prepare the meal. Wake up all the core members of the family and release all the hunting dogs."

Solus gripped the scepter tightly in his hand.

"I want him to know that in this Loomworld, even if he's a god, he has to obediently become our food!"
