Background / History

Wine Lord awakened inside Lin Xuan after an unknown force within Lin’s body was stimulated. He brought Lin into an inner gray-white world beneath a withered divine tree and identified the location as being inside Lin’s body. He refused to explain the Black Lotus, the mysterious little sword, or the other hidden force, though he promised that the latter would not emerge while he was present. 11

He had previously provided Lin Xuan with the Eternal Life Art, which enabled Lin to advance rapidly after his meridians were unsealed. Wine Lord offered further help in exchange for an undisclosed future favor, then began supplying cultivation wine in return for rare ingredients. 11
