Kane forced himself to find Little Pumpkin, stuffed the Farming Pioneer Hat inside, then disguised himself among the others like a normal person.

Then, as a bell rang, Professor Sprout entered the greenhouse and began teaching the young wizards how to grow whatever plants they needed, starting with preparing the soil.

Naturally, as Professor Sprout's assistant, Kane had already learned most of this through the occasional private lesson, so he was free to leave class and move about as he pleased.

Kane first used magic to draw the Mandrake Monsters floating near the dome down, compared their sizes, then put the Farming Pioneer Hat back on and began pulling out all sorts of fertilizer in a corner of the greenhouse to work into the soil.
