Back to School

As Kane suddenly accelerated, he dropped from the clouds in just a few seconds and began flying close to the ground, circling the Hogwarts Express.

The young wizards inside quickly noticed the strange broom flying alongside the train. Curious, they poked their heads out of the windows, Hermione among them.

When she heard in the compartment that a flying broom was chasing the train, then remembered that she had not seen any of Kane, Harry, or Ron since boarding, she more or less knew the three of them had huddled together again to pull off something ridiculous.

With a helpless sigh, she immediately headed toward the front of the train, intending to ask the driver to slow down so the three of them could catch up and get aboard.

The three on Mantis Shrimp also strangely sensed the train slowing down, until it reached such an absurd pace that even Mantis Shrimp's idle speed could easily overtake it. Kane had no choice but to deliberately slow down and brake so the flying broom would not pass the train.

At that moment, a window on one of the carriages suddenly opened. Hermione waved at the three of them on Mantis Shrimp. "I had the train slow down! Hurry and get on!"

Kane turned back to Harry and Ron. "Want to get on?"

This time, Harry and Ron did not even exchange a glance. "You know us. We've never liked riding those slow little trains."

Kane understood. He slowly moved closer to the Hogwarts Express and the window Hermione had opened.

"Hurry over here!" Hermione shouted, reaching out.

"You get on! We'll take you back to school early."

Ron shouted at Hermione.

"Are you crazy? Riding a flying broom to Hogwarts? Professor McGonagall will give us detention!" Hermione stared at the three
