Time flew by, and before they knew it, the Fourth Shinobi World War had begun. The scale of this war was unprecedented, with flames of battle spreading across the entire Shinobi World. Neji and Hinata were assigned to the Second Division, becoming members of the battle unit and shouldering the heavy responsibility of defending their homeland.
After one harrowing life-or-death battle after another, Neji's body finally reached its limit. Kiba Inuzuka was startled by the sight. He rushed over, caught Neji, and asked anxiously, "Neji, how are you? Is it serious?"
Enduring the agony in his body, Neji forced his eyes open and looked at the concerned Kiba. His voice was as weak as a dying flame. "I... I'm fine. Just a little tired..."
But Kiba was not fooled by Neji's words. He frowned deeply, knowing full well that Neji's injuries were anything but light. If Neji kept forcing himself on, it would not help his recovery at all. It would only make his condition worse and worse.
