Kakashi Squad was assigned to remain at the rock's Curse Mark. They bore an important mission—hold their position and wait for the other team members to find the Forbidden Talismans, then tear them off together. The decision seemed simple, but it carried immense risk and responsibility. Still, Might Guy had complete faith in his teammates and believed they could handle this arduous task.

Second by second, the members of Kakashi Squad kept their nerves taut, not daring to relax in the slightest. At last, they received word that the others had found the Forbidden Talismans. They immediately sprang into action, preparing to tear off the Curse Mark.

The instant the Curse Mark was torn away, something unexpected happened. A powerful force surged up from the once-peaceful surroundings like raging waves, sweeping toward Kakashi Squad. Then, near each of the other four locations, clones identical to every member of Might Guy's squad appeared at the same time!

These clones not only looked exactly like their originals, but even used the same ninjutsu, as though they had stepped out of mirrors. They swiftly surrounded Kakashi Squad, forming an airtight encirclement.

Faced with this sudden twist, Neji's eyes widened in shock, and for a moment, he did not know what to do. He had never encountered anything so bizarre. Where had these clones come from? And what were they after?

At this critical moment, with life and death hanging in the balance, Might Guy did not hesitate in the slightest. He made a crucial decision at once. He knew perfectly well that time was life and there could not be a moment's delay, so he immediately ordered the others in the squad to head separately to the four remaining Curse Mark locations. This would not only divide the enemy's attention, but also increase
