After Nagato's Death

After Nagato's death, leadership of the Akatsuki fell directly into Obito Uchiha's hands. Sasuke Uchiha's Taka had once briefly cooperated with the Akatsuki, their goal being to capture the Eight-Tails for the organization. However, that operation ultimately ended in failure.

Afterward, Obito Uchiha reached an agreement of mutual exploitation with Kabuto Yakushi. They decided to join forces and launch the Fourth Shinobi World War to achieve their respective goals.
