Loftily reclining amid the Ninth Heaven's clouds, upon a rush cushion I attained the true Dao;

Beyond Heaven and Earth, beyond the Mystic and Yellow, I was destined to hold the revered seat of teaching;

Pangu gave birth to Taiji, and the Two Principles followed the Four Images;

One teaching passed to three friends, while two teachings divided into Explanation and Interception;

Leader of the entire Mystic Gate, one breath transformed into Hongjun!

In the hazy blur, the singing swelled. The hearts and minds of the great mighty ones shuddered once more; they seemed to understand, yet did not understand—mysterious beyond mystery!

In the blink of an eye, the music vanished. Across the Primordial Wilderness, all the great cultivators awakened, only to be startled again. They thought:

"The Saint's divine abilities are indeed boundless and unfathomable. No wonder they say that until one becomes a Saint, one is nothing but an ant! We must hurry and listen to the Dao, lest we miss such an opportunity!"

On Two Sages Island, Mu Jizi and Kunpeng stood in the void. The two exchanged a glance without another word, then hurriedly took a step beyond the Primordial Wilderness and entered the chaos!

There were still a hundred years until Hongjun began preaching at Purple Cloud Palace. Mu Jizi and Kunpeng were in such a hurry because they wished to seize good seats within Purple Cloud Palace.

Moreover, neither of them knew where Purple Cloud Palace was located this time. Only after finding it could they set their minds at ease. Even if they arrived early, waiting would do no harm. To cultivators of their level, a hundred years was no more than the blink of a mortal's eye!

Thus, unless necessary, few entered the chaos. One had to know that without reaching the realm of a Primordial Unity Golden Immortal and possessing a supreme treasure for protection, even remaining there for a moment meant either being torn apart by the Five Elements and four elemental forces, or assimilated by the chaos qi!

In such a place, even great mighty ones at the Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm had to tread with the utmost care. One careless step might not cost them their lives, but it would still be enough to make them drink a bitter cup!

With matters thus, not to mention seeking Purple Cloud Palace within the chaos—even preserving one's life there for an extended time was a tremendous problem. Thus, it barred many people from entering!

Just as Kunpeng and Mu Jizi stepped into the chaos, countless more figures radiating powerful auras emerged from the Primordial Wilderness and entered the chaos as well!

When Mu Jizi and Kunpeng arrived in the chaos, they saw countless elemental powers rolling and flickering, while endless chaos qi surged like ocean tides and furious waves, like mountains collapsing and the earth splitting apart, as though the end of the world had descended!

The four elements of earth, wind, water, and fire surged forth, while the Five Elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth swept wildly about. Their aura was terrifying to the extreme!

At the sight of this, Mu Jizi and Kunpeng both furrowed their brows. After sensing the surroundings for a moment, their expressions eased slightly. Without needing to speak, they flipped their hands and tossed two small flags above their heads!

Those two small flags were the eastern Green Lotus Treasure-Colored Flag and the northern Black-Origin Water-Control Flag, which they had obtained while traveling through the Primordial Wilderness!

At that moment, streams of profound aura flowed down from above Mu Jizi and Kunpeng's heads. In an instant, like waterfalls and drizzling rain, two transparent curtains of light enveloped them!

This was the protective defense of the two Five Direction Flags.

With the Five Direction Flags above their heads, Mu Jizi and Kunpeng stepped into the chaos. At once, with a roaring rush, endless currents crashed toward them like tides. Crackling explosions erupted, and chaotic torrents, the Five Elements, and the four elemental forces all seemed provoked, madly surging forth to attack!

For a time, the Five Direction Flags protecting Mu Jizi and Kunpeng trembled several times. Their hearts leaped into their throats!

Fortunately, the Five Direction Flags were top-grade innate spirit treasures. They had been transformed from the leaves and stalks of the Chaos Green Lotus, a chaos supreme treasure. Not only did they possess immense defensive power, they could also part the chaotic currents!

At that moment, the Five Direction Flags suddenly shot out two azure beams, like enormous curtains of light. When the chaotic currents encountered that radiance, they scattered like mice meeting a cat, fleeing and avoiding the two of them!

From afar, the palace appeared simple and unadorned, yet also magnificent and grand. Two utterly incompatible auras mingled together, yet rather than seeming abrupt, they carried an indescribable charm—mysterious beyond mystery!

Streams of violet light shone from the palace, illuminating the chaos, while profound mysteries permeated the primordial mist. Above the palace gates hung a plaque inscribed with three Grand Dao runes: Purple Cloud Palace.

The two were overjoyed and immediately quickened their pace, arriving before it! Yet Purple Cloud Palace's gates had not opened, for the time had not yet come!

Mu Jizi and Kunpeng did not mind. They promptly withdrew the Five Direction Flags above their heads and stood before the palace gates!

It turned out that within a hundred li of Purple Cloud Palace, an enormous curtain of light enveloped everything. That light curtain seemed illusory yet real. It did not prevent living beings from entering, but instead blocked the endless elemental currents. When those countless currents slammed into it, it was as though they had struck the hardest thing in the world, unable to move it in the slightest!

Seeing this, Mu Jizi and Kunpeng could not help sighing inwardly. It seemed that Purple Cloud Palace itself was also an extraordinary treasure!

After a brief sigh, the two searched with their divine senses and discovered that there was no movement within a hundred li. A burst of delight rose in their hearts. It seemed that, at this moment, they were the first to arrive at Purple Cloud Palace.

The two exchanged a glance, then floated down and sat cross-legged before the gates of Purple Cloud Palace! They intended to be the first to step inside once the gates opened!

As they sat before the gates, Mu Jizi sent Kunpeng a message: "Worthy younger brother, many great mighty ones will surely gather beside Purple Cloud Palace later. When the time comes, if we can avoid provoking them, then do so. We have come only to listen to the Dao this time. Do not stir up any more trouble!"

Mu Jizi paid no mind and merely smiled. He continued, "We were the first to arrive here, so we have gained the initiative. When Purple Cloud Palace opens, if we join forces a little, we can secure good seats!"

Upon hearing this, Kunpeng could not help curling his lip. He sent back, "Elder brother is truly particular. Once the gates open, we simply go in and listen to the Dao. What does it matter whether our seats are near the front?"

"How could you know the mysteries within?" Mu Jizi smiled mysteriously and sent back, "Your elder brother would never harm you. Just listen to me!"

"Fine, fine, fine! Isn't that enough?" Kunpeng said helplessly. Just as he was about to say something more, the Five Elements and chaos qi outside Purple Cloud Palace suddenly erupted. Immediately afterward, three figures, their heads crowned with Mystic-Yellow light and their appearances somewhat bedraggled, stepped into the light curtain outside Purple Cloud Palace!
