Yuan Tian entered the nameless formation and quietly drew close to the two people fighting within it. He recognized them as the Phoenix Ancestor and the Phoenix Ancestor, known as the Twin Ancestors of the Phoenix Clan, famed top-tier experts of the Primordial Wilderness. What delighted Yuan Tian was that after entering this formation, neither of them had noticed him. Was that not something to celebrate?
Perhaps they had already noticed him but had no time to deal with him. After all, in others' eyes, Yuan Tian was now merely a wisp of Primordial Spirit. That wisp might pose great danger to those below the Taiyi Realm, but against top experts of the Primordial Wilderness like the Phoenix Ancestor and the Phoenix Ancestor, it was no threat at all. Even if he stood there and let them attack, it was uncertain whether they could even break his defenses.
Of course, all of this rested on one premise: that others could discover the existence of Yuan Tian's wisp of Primordial Spirit. That did not seem like an easy thing either.
"What is going on here? From the way they're fighting, this doesn't look like a sparring match. They're completely fighting for their lives—like mortal enemies who will not rest until one of them dies." Yuan Tian was thoroughly bewildered by the two of them. In truth, anyone who did not know the inside story would be confused, Yuan Tian included.
Fortunately, Yuan Tian was some distance away. Otherwise, he feared he might have been caught in the aftermath of their battle. That would have been far too unjust; their battle's shockwaves were simply too enormous.
"Internal strife?" That seemed to be the only possible explanation. At any rate, Yuan Tian's mind was filled with one question: Why? Why was this happening?
