Primordial Three Clans

While Yuan Tian cultivated anxiously, the Primordial Continent was bustling with activity. Just moments ago, all living beings of the Primordial Wilderness had heard three vows transmitted by the Great Dao, vows made by the leaders of the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans. "Let the Great Dao bear witness. I, Ancestral Dragon, hereby swear in the Eastern Sea: My Dragon Clan shall safeguard the peace of all living beings in the Primordial Wilderness and govern the four seas. From this day forth, we shall be the foremost among all scaled and armored creatures in the Primordial Wilderness."

"Let the Great Dao bear witness. I, Phoenix Ancestor (Phoenix Ancestor), hereby swear at Southern Radiance Volcano: My Phoenix Clan shall safeguard the peace of all living beings in the Primordial Wilderness and stand guard over the Southern Radiance Undying Volcano. From this day forth, we shall be the foremost among all feathered creatures in the Primordial Wilderness."

"Let the Great Dao bear witness. I, Qilin Ancestor, hereby swear in the Central Land: My Qilin Clan shall safeguard the peace of all living beings in the Primordial Wilderness and govern the Central Land. From this day forth, we shall be the foremost among all beasts of the Primordial Wilderness."

At this time, Hongjun had yet to merge with the Dao, so the Heavenly Dao remained hidden while the Great Dao governed temporarily. That was why the three clans swore their vows to the Great Dao.

Over more than three hundred kalpas and forty million years of development, the Primordial World had seen its population steadily grow, giving rise to countless clans. Gradually, the glorious age of the hundred clans vying for supremacy emerged. Among those hundred clans, six were the strongest: the Dragon Clan and Black Tortoise Clan, overlords of the seas; the Qilin Clan and White Tiger Clan, masters of the land; and the Phoenix Clan and Vermilion Bird Clan, supreme rulers of the skies. Not only were these six clans overwhelmingly powerful as a whole, but their individual members were also formidable. They were the six strongest clans of sea, land, and sky.

Among the six clans, the Black Tortoise Clan, White Tiger Clan, and Vermilion Bird Clan had the fewest members. In terms of overall strength, they were weaker than the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans. After the leaders of the three clans finished making their vows, the Great Dao bestowed immeasurable merit upon them as a reward, signifying its acceptance of their vows. From then on, the three clans respectively became the supreme rulers of scaled and armored creatures, feathered creatures, and beasts, occupying more than half the fortune of the Primordial Wilderness. After the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans absorbed the merit bestowed by the Great Dao, their fortune and strength soared, giving them the true power to contend for supremacy in the Primordial Wilderness and making them the three strongest clans upon the Primordial Continent. After Ancestral Dragon, Phoenix Ancestor, and Qilin Ancestor absorbed their respective portions of merit, their cultivation leaped to the peak of the Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm, propelling them into the ranks of the Primordial Wilderness's greatest experts. Of the three clans, the Dragon Clan was the strongest, but the Phoenix and Qilin Clans, as members of the three great clans, were not much inferior to it. Thus began the struggle for supremacy among the three clans.

Both the Dragon Clan and Black Tortoise Clan dwelled in the seas of the Primordial Wilderness and primarily cultivated their physical bodies, making their flesh incredibly powerful. The Dragon Clan was born with the divine ability to command clouds and rain. Its leader, Ancestral Dragon, was an innate demon god who commanded the Dragon Clan and occupied the fortune of all the seas of the Primordial Wilderness, flourishing for a time.

The Phoenix Clan dwelled at the Undying Volcano in the southern heavens. Its leaders, Phoenix Ancestor and Phoenix Ancestor, were also innate demon gods and sovereigns of fire. The Qilin Clan lived in the heart of the Primordial Continent. Their physical defenses surpassed even those of the Dragon Clan, and they excelled at controlling Central Wu Earth. They were the beloved children of the earth, and their leader, Qilin Ancestor, was likewise an innate demon god.

It was also said that not only was the great god Pangu born within Primordial Chaos, but three thousand Primordial Chaos Demon Gods had also come into being there. The Primordial Chaos Demon Gods were violent by nature and fond of slaughter. They possessed powerful Chaos True Bodies and could destroy heaven and earth with a wave of their hands. they were unwilling to rank beneath the heaven and earth of the Primordial Wilderness, so they called themselves innate demon gods to display their identities as beings born before all else. These innate demon gods were the first batch of living beings born in the Primordial World after Pangu opened the heavens. Every one of them possessed an innate spiritual body and was born with great divine abilities. Their magic power reached the heavens, and their divine abilities were boundless. At this time, although the three clans harbored ambitions of dominating the Primordial Wilderness, their leaders were evenly matched, as were their overall strengths. Therefore, the three clans generally remained independent of one another. Though minor disputes occasionally arose, there was no great enmity between them, and they could be considered harmonious.

The three vows spread throughout the Primordial World, producing a tremendous impact across the Primordial Wilderness. The hundred clans reacted differently to the vows made by the leaders of the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin Clans.
