Gwen woke up groggily in the morning. As usual, she yawned, got up, washed her face, and brushed her teeth. But when she reached to turn on the faucet, she snapped it right off.
She froze, thinking she was dreaming.
How could a perfectly good faucet break off with one twist? She had to be dreaming—but the shock of the cold water made her realize this was no dream...
At first, she thought the faucet had already been broken. But just as she was about to call her dad to shut off the valve, she sprang up and slammed into the ceiling with a crack...
Gwen was completely dumbfounded. "What the fuck?"
She had no idea what was going on. She had only jumped lightly—since when had her jumping ability become this strong?
Still unaware of the truth, Gwen also discovered that her nearsightedness had somehow vanished. Even the dust on the floor was crystal clear to her.
In her excitement, she pulled out her phone to call Chen Xi. But when she eagerly pressed the number, she cracked the phone's screen.
Looking at her handiwork, she finally realized that she had definitely mutated!
"Oh my God! I became a Mutant?"
Gwen wasn't panicking at all. Instead, she was incredibly excited. Becoming stronger was an instinct engraved in every living creature's genes.

She immediately thought of Chen Xi. Without even bothering to fix her wild, lion's-mane hair, she dashed toward his house in her pajamas, completely oblivious to the way passersby stared at her like she was insane.
When Chen Xi saw Gwen bounce into the yard, he was stunned. Why didn't you use the front door, girl?
"What happened to you? Is this some kind of prank?"
Chen Xi chuckled as he teased her. Of course, he knew exactly why she was like this.
"Hey, I think I mutated. What am I supposed to do? I could only come find you."
Gwen shot him an irritated glare. She had no idea what to do, and he was still taking pleasure in her misfortune.
"You just mutated. The poor rely on mutation, while the rich rely on technology—get it? Congratulations, you're about to turn your life around."
Chen Xi spoke as though it were nothing, which made Gwen even more annoyed. Look at that indifferent face of yours!
She didn't even dare go to school now! Wouldn't everyone treat her like a monster there? Oh, right, Parker had apparently run to school like an idiot too, terrified that people wouldn't realize he was a Mutant.
Now, almost everyone at school looked at Parker like he was a monster, yet that fool was still feeling pretty pleased with himself...
"Turn my life around, my ass! Hurry up and help me think of something! I can't control myself!!"
Gwen glared at him irritably. All he knew how to do was tease her.
"Stay at my place for the next few days. Leave once you've gradually practiced enough to control your mutation," Chen Xi said calmly.
"Then do you know what kind of mutation this is?"
"Don't worry too much. Judging by how you look, it's probably a physical mutation."
"Try controlling your abilities and see what changes you have. Wouldn't that tell you?"
When faced with Gwen's questions, he pretended to know nothing despite knowing perfectly well.
If he knew, that would be suspicious.
"Mmm, you're right."
"What if I'm like some Mutants and become horribly ugly? Or even turn into some kind of monster?" Gwen asked softly, worried again.
"Stop overthinking it. Do you feel any changes in your body? Based on my many years of experience, your mutation seems fairly similar to Parker's."
"Mm-hmm, I'll listen to you."
Gwen nodded obediently. She felt completely safe around Chen Xi, as though no problem could possibly be a problem.
Perhaps that was why she had sought Chen Xi's help the very moment she panicked.
Just then, Wanda heard the commotion and came outside.
"Huh? Who is she?"
Wanda looked curiously at the girl in pajamas.
Did you sleepwalk all the way to my house?
At the same time, Gwen looked up at Wanda, who had emerged wearing luxurious silk pajamas. Her elegance and graceful figure made Gwen unable to resist taking a few more looks, especially at her full chest, which seemed to be a cup size larger than her own.
So she's his girlfriend? She's truly a stunning woman. Their looks and figures really suit each other.
Gwen muttered to herself, then looked down at her own crazy appearance...
"Haha, let me introduce you. This is Gwen Stacy."
"Gwen, this is my girlfriend, Wanda."

Wanda was poised and gracious, while Gwen was innocent and lively. Chen Xi, standing beside them, felt thoroughly pleased. Mm, both of you, get down for me!
"Gwen, what's going on with you?"
Seeing Gwen barefoot with her hair in disarray, Wanda really thought she had been sleepwalking.
"I... I..."
Gwen didn't know how to explain. Who knew whether Wanda minded Mutants? What if Chen Xi had hidden his identity from her? Wouldn't she hurt him if she let something slip?
She looked toward Chen Xi for help. She had no idea whether Wanda knew his secrets.
"Let me explain. Gwen's body mutated, so she came here to ask for my help."
Chen Xi smiled as he explained from the side. There was no need to hide this from Wanda.
"Ah? You're so lucky! I'm jealous."
After hearing that, Wanda looked at Gwen with envy. How wonderful would it be if her body could mutate too?
"You don't mind? I've seen a lot of people discriminate against Mutants."
Gwen relaxed as well. At least Wanda didn't reject her. Didn't that mean she could stay here openly?
"If my body mutated, then Chen Xi wouldn't have to hold himself back so hard every night. I..."
Wanda quickly covered her mouth halfway through. How could she tell such an embarrassing thing to an outsider?
Gwen wasn't a child. She understood almost instantly...
Wanda immediately blushed and couldn't bring herself to look at Gwen. She hurriedly hid in Chen Xi's arms like an ostrich.
"Ahem, ahem. Becoming stronger isn't difficult. I have an insanely awesome serum here that would let you crush Captain America in his normal state."
Chen Xi coughed and hurriedly changed the subject. Wanda was still too young and prone to letting things slip. Fortunately, there were no outsiders here.
"Normal-state Captain America? Captain America can't be defeated!"
Both Gwen and Wanda widened their eyes. Was there really a superhero stronger than Captain America?
"Fine, I said normal-state Captain America. That guy has plot armor that forces him into an even match with anyone—he can trade a few moves with anybody."
Chen Xi curled his lips speechlessly. Steve had truly been mythologized by all of America.
"Is your serum really that powerful?"
Wanda looked at him curiously. Had he swindled another high-tech product from some biotech company?
"Take away the question mark. This is something I obtained at a tremendous cost—the Perfect T-Virus Serum."
As he spoke, Chen Xi took out the dreamlike serum.
