Background

Shen Ziheng is the only son of Divine Physician Valley’s Valley Master and Jiang Wanjun, the renowned Gentleman Sword. Despite his family background, he traveled to Mount Grand Mystery to seek a master, arriving alongside Meng Hongying and Feng Wuhen. He was already at the Qi Refining Sixth Layer at the time, giving him knowledge of the sect’s Path of Heart-Questioning that Feng Wuhen lacked. He warned Feng and Meng about the trial’s illusions and difficulty, preventing their argument from escalating before the assessment. 1

After completing the Path of Heart-Questioning, Shen received invitations from several peak masters and Sect Master Qin Che. He ultimately chose Qin Che as his master. 2

From their first meeting, Shen felt an unexplained affinity toward Feng Wuhen and repeatedly sought ways to look after him.
