With a sigh, Cain sheathed his Tachi and drew the steel longsword from his back, one he had not used in a long time. His gaze softened as he ran his fingers along it.
It was one of the tokens Roxy had given him to seal their love.
"Don't worry, Keith. I know what to do now. I'll make Roxy happy, I swear!"
Keith nodded in satisfaction.
"Now that's the look I wanted to see. That's the Sword God I know."
Eris blinked at Cain and Keith, then puffed out her cheeks.
Time passed quickly. Keith traveled with Cain's group for two weeks before leaving them. Even by the time they parted, Cain had not found out why Keith had been there.
