Tang San first appears as Yu Xiaogang’s devoted student, admiring the simulated Yu Xiaogang’s defiant declaration and questioning why his teacher never spoke so boldly in the past. 1

As the Screen reveals Yu Xiaogang’s limitations and alleged plagiarism, Tang San continues defending him. He becomes distressed when Bai Fan reaches the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, regarding its Immortal Herbs as treasures that should belong to him. 2 6

Bai Fan’s broadcast claims that Tang San would exploit Dugu Bo, strip the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well of its resources, and leave Dugu Yan alone after Dugu Bo’s death. The revelation drives Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan to swear hostility toward Tang San. 7

God Realm Opposition to Bai Fan

Tang San grows wary when Bai Fan develops self-created skills and revolutionary influence. He concludes that Bai Fan intends to defy him and states that Bai Fan cannot be allowed to live. 21
