The Heavenly Screen manifests in the sky and begins broadcasting Bai Fan's simulation of Yu Xiaogang's life. It transmits not only events but Bai Fan's unspoken thoughts to viewers across the continent and across different eras, while Bai Fan initially remains unaware that he is being watched 1 2 38.

Its simulations can compress or skip lengthy periods of training: Bai Fan may train for years inside the Screen while only an instant passes outside it 2. The Screen's broadcasts turn Bai Fan's actions into continent-wide public events, influencing commoners, sects, imperial courts, Spirit Hall, and figures in the God Realm 1 5 21.

After Bai Fan's first simulation ends with the destruction of Spirit City, the system announces an SSS achievement rating, reduced to an overall S because of excessive innocent casualties. It then schedules another simulation one month later 37.
