Background / History

Lü Hao served as captain of Tech Company's King-Hunting Action Squad, leading an operation against what intelligence classified as a One-Star Zombie Nest. He cautioned rookie Awakened Xiao Wen against complacency, insisting that every zombie remained dangerous despite the mission's low rating. 38

The squad entered Lin Dong's territory with four Crystal Core Awakened, 500 armed personnel, and two Pursuer bioweapons. Lü Hao initially interpreted Tank and the waiting elite zombies as a possible trap, but chose to advance. The operation was then overwhelmed by the unexpected arrival of the Red-Faced Zombie King's horde. 39

Personality

Lü Hao was cautious, analytical, and capable of making rapid tactical decisions. During the battle, he identified the threat posed by Scarf's Mind Control, ordered Xiao Wen to locate its source, and used earth barriers to protect survivors from grenade explosions and the Red-Faced Zombie King's blood-vessel attacks. 40 41

His pragmatism could become ruthless. When Lin Dong and Little Eight devastated the squad, Lü Hao ordered his core group into a sealed refuge and abandoned roughly one hundred armed personnel outside to be slaughtered. 42

Even after witnessing Lin Dong's overwhelming power, he resisted until he was physically unable to continue. Before dying, he warned Lin Dong about Tech Company's secret zombie-cultivation efforts. 44 45

The assault deteriorated when the Red-Faced Zombie King's horde attacked the squad. Lü Hao coordinated defensive measures against Mind Control and the opposing Zombie King while recognizing that the hostile horde rivaled a Three-Star Zombie Nest. 40 41

Encounter with Lin Dong

After Lin Dong entered the battle, Lü Hao watched Xu Jian—his strongest attacker—die instantly within the Zombie King Domain. He identified Lin Dong as a genuine Wraith Zombie and ordered an immediate retreat into a fortified building. 42

Lin Dong later infiltrated the sealed refuge, killed the remaining Awakened, and defeated Lü Hao's Earth Armor. Lü Hao continued resisting until Lin Dong expanded his domain and struck him through the chest, sending him out of the building. 44 45

Death

Mortally wounded and surrounded by Lin Dong's zombie army, Lü Hao warned Lin Dong that Tech Company was secretly feeding zombies and cultivating Wraiths. He died shortly afterward. 45
