Lester's a Solid Kid
The Slytherin wizards pointed at Neville without hesitation and burst into laughter, taunting him relentlessly.
The young wizards of Gryffindor also wore sneers, wondering why Neville, that fool, had come to Gryffindor.
Neville had grown up without his parents and was already very insecure. Now, being mocked by so many people, tears welled up in his eyes.
Several excessive Slytherin junior wizards, especially the Malfoy and their descendants of the Death Eaters.
He then proudly proclaimed to those around him from his seat, "Neville is a complete idiot who grew up with his grandma. He can't even eat without her!"
Upon hearing this, many Gryffindor laughed, clearly agreeing with the statement.
Neville's performance since the start of the semester has indeed been disappointing. Although they are from the same house, they all look down on Neville, this idiot.
In the front row, many young wizards turned around, their eyes filled with mockery and their lips curled into disdainful smiles as they watched Neville make a fool of himself.
As Slytherin, mocking Gryffindor was second nature to them, and Jiedi clasped his hands together, ready to loudly taunt Neville.
Before he could even finish speaking, Jiedi suddenly broke out in a cold sweat.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw that his older Lester, instead of mocking Neville, had a stern and serious expression.
Jiedi instantly read Lester's expression and understood his thoughts.
Lego doesn't like to laugh at Neville!
Upon closer reflection, although Lester was arrogant and domineering, he only bullied others who were equally arrogant and domineering.
He, Kitty, Miti, Pansy the lion dog, and Malfoy —they were all little tyrants among the children, which is why Lester bullied them.
But Lester never showed even the slightest disdain for Neville, a truly weakling.
Too young to understand why Lester was doing this, Jiedi didn't know; as a henchman, all he needed to know was that his boss didn't like it.
So, Jiedi immediately changed the words he was about to say, and with all his might, roared:
"Slytherin, all of you, quiet down!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the students around Jiedi were all startled by his thunderous roar.
The noisy classroom fell silent as all the Slytherin students instinctively looked towards Jiedi in the front row and Lester beside him.
When they saw Lester's expressionless face, most of the young Slytherin wizards, born into noble families, trembled.
Especially Draco, who was born into the Malfoy family; he had just been seriously recounting Neville's jokes.
However, when he saw Lester's disdainful and contemptuous look, Malfoy suddenly felt that these jokes were meaningless.
Many Slytherin wizards from minor or middle-class Pure-blood families Pure-blood families quiet under pressure from Lester.
But Malfoy, born into a top-tier Pure-blood families, seemed to understand something when he saw Lester's eyes.
He remembered the words his father had taught him when he was a child.
"The cowardly are enraged and draw their swords against the weaker; the brave are enraged and draw their swords against the stronger."
Although Lester was arrogant and domineering, he only bullied the strong. As for himself, he dared not fight back against Lester's bullying and could only brandish his knife and approach Neville.
"Father, if you saw me like this, you'd probably be very disappointed."
Previously, he thought Lester was just a bit stronger, but now, Malfoy knows that he is no match for Lester.
[Ding! The first-year Slytherin Slytherin has been won over (4/20)]
Lester, expressionless, was somewhat confused by the system notification in his mind, but he didn't pay it any mind.
After seeing that all the Slytherin students had quieted down, he turned back.
After Jiedi shouted, the Slytherin students quieted down, and although Gryffindor students didn't take it seriously, they still quieted down.
Inside the classroom, Professor McGonagall's face alternated between pale and purple.
Why are Gryffindor students mocking their own classmates, requiring intervention from other houses?
Professor McGonagall looked at Lester, who sat calmly in the front row, and Jiedi, who was beaming with pride beside him, with a complicated expression. She didn't know what to think.
She had previously worried that Lester, this talented child, would go astray in Slytherin, but now she was relieved.
Regardless of the child's actions, at least Lester's character is sound.
Professor McGonagall cleared her throat, and all the students in the classroom turned their attention to her.
Jiedi, who had been so smug just moments before, turned pale. He may have felt good, but he was likely to face deductions and a scolding.
"Jiedi, for stopping the students from whispering in class, Slytherin 5 points!"
As soon as he finished speaking, many people froze on the spot.
Damn it, Jiedi yelled so loudly just now, and instead of scolding him, you gave him points?
The young Gryffindor wizards were also dumbfounded, wondering why the headmaster was giving them extra points.
Professor McGonagall sighed in disappointment when she saw the bewildered look on the faces of the young wizards in her school.
McGonagall glanced at Neville, whose cheeks still bore traces of tears but who had returned to normal, and sighed again.
Neville is the son of his old friend; his parents were also members of the Order of the Phoenix, but sadly...
Without the contributions of Neville's parents, the peaceful Wizarding World we live in today might not exist.
Now that the Wizarding World is at peace, the Gryffindor children, instead of thanking Neville, are joining the Slytherin in mocking Neville.
This made McGonagall feel a pang of sadness.
As for the Slytherin wizards mocking Neville, it didn't affect her much.
Since it was Neville's parents who chased and beat their parents back then, it seems reasonable for the two of them to laugh at each other.
