Professor Snape
That evening, in the Slytherin Common Room, Lester's small cliques promptly gathered together and started a small meeting.
"We have Potions tomorrow. I wonder what kind of person our headmaster is."
Jiedi anxiously flipped through his Potions textbook, his eyes constantly scanning the recipes and precautions for preparing the potions.
Kitty chimed in, "I heard from upperclassmen that Professor Snape is very strict in class. Apparently, quite a few students from other houses have been made to cry by his scolding!"
Upon hearing this, Pansy couldn't help but shrink back, while Goyle and Crabbe also looked worried.
"Malfoy, aren't you Snape's godson?" Lester looked at Malfoy and asked the question that had been bothering him, "Do you know why, even though it's been four days since school started, I've hardly seen Professor Snape except during the Sorting Ceremony?"
Malfoy hesitated for a moment, then said apologetically, "I heard from my father that a large number of inferior Potions have suddenly appeared in the Wizarding World, killing many wizards. Moreover, these Potions all bear Professor Snape's mark."
"The professor seems to have gone three days without sleep. Apart from returning to Hogwarts on the day of the Sorting, he's spent all his time outside tracking down the murderer."
Lester's interest was piqued, and he asked curiously, "Inferior Potions?"
He had previously impersonated Quirrell to sell fake medicine because he had heard that a group of fake medicine dealers in the Knockturn Alley were selling fake medicines without an anus, so he went along with it and tricked Quirrell.
However, he genuinely didn't know who was selling the counterfeit medicine.
But for some reason, whenever someone mentions inferior Potions in front of him, Lester subconsciously thinks of Scarface.
Malfoy cautiously glanced around, and after confirming that no one was paying attention, he whispered, "Two months ago, a full 100 bottles of substandard Cheering Potion flooded the Potions market in Knockturn Alley."
"At the time, these potions were all engraved with Professor Snape's mark. Moreover, unlike the professor's expensive Potions, these were all being sold off at low prices."
As he spoke, a hint of fear flashed in Malfoy's eyes, and he slowly continued, "As a result, ninety percent of the wizards who drank these Potions died laughing, and another ten percent were sent to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries."
Lester: "..."
He said that there didn't seem to be a part in the original book where Snape investigated the fake medicine. So it turns out that Scarface really did it.
After learning what had happened, Lester lost interest and started to relax.
Seeing this, Malfoy didn't say anything more, and also lay down on the sofa, imitating Lester, and began to close his eyes to rest.
However, as soon as Malfoy closed his eyes, the image of that smaller figure appeared in his mind, making Malfoy feel quite agitated.
The next morning, Lester's Slytherin party once again set off in a grand procession from the common room, swaggering towards the Potions Classroom located on the basement level.
Lester, Malfoy, Miti, Jiedi, Kitty, Goyle, Crabbe, and Pansy.
The eight people gathered in a group and swaggered through the streets.
Younger wizards from other houses avoided them like the plague, while the younger wizards from Slytherin looked on with envy.
When they arrived at the Potions Classroom, unsurprisingly, they encountered another large group of Gryffindor students.
Unlike the large groups of Slytherin, Gryffindor students usually walk in twos and threes.
Upon encountering a large group of eight Slytherin, the Gryffindor students instinctively froze in place.
Until the arrival of Harry Potter and his henchman Ron Weasley, the Gryffindor.
"Lester, what do you want to do?" Ron Weasley preemptively questioned Lester.
Lester, puzzled, replied casually, "What else would we be doing in the Potions Classroom? Of course, we're here to attend class!"
Malfoy, not to be outdone, jumped out and sneered, "What? Does Potions only allow Gryffindor, but not Slytherin?"
"Besides, you bunch of idiots, do you really think you can learn Potions? It's a very profound subject. You bunch of brutes should just stay in your dorm rooms."
As soon as Malfoy finished speaking, the Slytherin behind him burst into laughter, taking the mockery to its extreme.
"Horse manure? Do you think you can brew Potions?" Harry stepped forward and shouted, "Get out of the way and let us in!"
Meanwhile, Harry glanced at Lester, who seemed indifferent, with great disappointment.
He hadn't expected that Lester, after only five days in Slytherin, would already be in league with those Slytherin.
"Are you sick? Scarhead, which eye of yours saw us blocking the way? It was clearly your people standing still, what business is it of ours!"
The Potions Classroom is on the basement level. Once you're on the basement level, you can enter the classroom from either the left or right.
The Slytherin snake entered from the left, Gryffindor wizards entered from the right; there was no question of them blocking the way.
Harry looked closely and realized that was indeed the case.
However, the words have already been spoken, and Harry has his pride too, you know.
He is no longer the poor orphan fostered by the Dursley family; he is now the Chosen One of the Wizarding World.
Since he entered the Wizarding World, everyone has shown him friendliness and kindness.
Only Malfoy and Lester didn't treat him like that, which made Harry very unhappy.
Just as Harry was about to utter some harsh words, a cold voice suddenly came from the classroom.
"Harry Potter, the Chosen One of the Wizarding World, what a famous guy!"
