A Complete Break
Inside the restaurant, Lester wiped the food crumbs from the corner of his mouth and slowly stood up.
Today's classes are few and easy; there are no classes in the morning, but there's a Potions in the afternoon.
After breakfast, you can go back to your dorm and catch up on some sleep.
The room check at midnight last night left Lester feeling rather listless.
As soon as Lester stood up, a large group of Slytherin around him also stood up, looking just like a gang.
"What are you doing?" Lester asked, bewildered. "And you, Malfoy, you still have a donut in your mouth, what are you doing standing up?"
Malfoy scratched his head, looking embarrassed, and said, "Normally, shouldn't the younger brother follow the older brother when he stands up?"
Lester was speechless for a moment, then shouted at the horde of Slytherin, "Are you all crazy? From now on, go do what you're supposed to do, you don't need to follow me around every day!"
These kids have such strange thought processes; they think that only when their older brother is surrounded by a group of people can he look impressive.
Unfortunately, these are usually small-time thugs, not big shots.
Lester left the dining hall only after all the other Slytherin students had sat down to eat again.
Just as Lester was about to go back to his dorm to catch up on sleep, he heard a rude voice.
"Lester, stop! We need to have a serious talk!"
Turning around, I saw Ron Weasley and Harry leading a group of first-year Gryffindor wizards toward me in a menacing manner.
Ron Weasley stood with his hands on his hips, looking at Lester who was all alone, then at the large group of people behind him, and felt that he was finally ready to go again.
Harry's face flushed with excitement, convinced he could stop Lester's plot.
"Lester, don't think I don't know what shady things you did last night!"
Ron Weasley, filled with righteous indignation, pointed at Lester's nose and scolded, "I've discovered all your Slytherin's underhanded tricks. I advise you to stop doing them."
"Otherwise, we Gryffindor wouldn't mind teaching you a lesson you won't forget!"
The group of Gryffindor wizards behind him also proudly raised their heads, looking down at Lester with their noses in their noses.
So what if Lester is arrogant? He's still surrounded by them.
Lester ignored Ron Weasley's shouting, turned to Harry, and said coldly, "You think so too?"
Harry felt a little uneasy under Lester's gaze and developed a fear of his expressionless face.
However, upon seeing the large group of young wizards behind him, Harry regained his confidence and declared loudly, "Lester, I know you're a good person, but don't hang out with those Slytherin anymore!"
Pfft!
Hearing Harry's self-righteous words, Lester laughed in exasperation.
Every house has good people and every house has bad people. Why is it that those who follow you Harry, are good people, but those who follow me Lester, are bad people?
Besides, Lester knew exactly what kind of people Gryffindor House were.
When Harry Potter brought glory to the school, they chanted, "We have Potter!"
When Harry Potter was framed, none of these people chose to believe Potter; instead, they joined in isolating Harry.
In Lester's opinion, the most brainless and despicable people were the young wizards of Gryffindor.
They believe everything they hear, even the little wizards of Slytherin, who are single-minded and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
Lester raised an eyebrow and said calmly, "So, you're planning to send someone to fight me?"
As he spoke, Lester glanced around at the Gryffindor students, his eyes filled with disdain.
He could wreak havoc in the Ministry of Magic with just his prisoners, and now these twenty-odd junior wizards dare to surround him? They're really courting death.
Upon hearing this, the previously aggressive Gryffindor immediately fell silent.
You can let them put on airs, but getting them to actually teach Lester a lesson is out of the question.
Gryffindor wasn't as united as they claimed; in reality, they were just a bunch of troublemakers and reckless fools.
The reason they were willing to come along was not to stop Lester's plot, nor did they care about Lester.
They only agreed to come with Harry and Ron Weasley this time for the sake of having more people and making things more exciting.
Sensing the silence behind him, Ron Weasley grew anxious and shouted, "Lester, there are over 20 of us here. Do you think you can take on all of us by yourself?"
Lester shook his head modestly and said earnestly, "I won't attack all of you."
Just when Gryffindor thought Lester had backed down and was about to become arrogant again, Lester slowly said, "I will only attack the first person to make a move."
"Anyone who dares to lay a hand on me now will be my enemy, Lester's enemy. For the next seven years, I will spare no effort to ensure they never have a good day at Hogwarts!"
Lester's words were cold and sinister, and the content was simple and brutal.
It's obvious to anyone with eyes that Lester is an exceptionally talented individual, and he's also quite popular in Slytherin.
He will surely become the leader of Slytherin and a prominent figure at Hogwarts in the future.
Lester might get away with a small loss now because they have more men, but they will inevitably suffer Lester's fierce retaliation in the future.
Lester's behavior since the start of the school year strongly suggests that he is not a good person.
To be targeted by such a terrifying guy for seven years, and to be targeted at any cost, is worse than death.
Besides, they had no grudge against Lester to begin with, and this was only because they were misled by Ron Weasley. Even if they didn't take action now, they would be fine.
And so, all the Gryffindor students fell silent, none of them willing to make the first move.
Ron Weasley and Harry stole the limelight, but Lester ended up bearing the consequences of his own retaliation; they weren't that foolish.
So, despite having Gryffindor, Lester alone subdued them in the corridor.
