Lester: "What the Hell Are You Barking At?"
On Saturday morning, the early-rising young wizards from the Four Houses went to the dining hall for breakfast.
"Merlin's beard, what exactly happened last night?!"
Several upperclassmen from Slytherin could hardly believe their eyes.
The House Points in the Entrance Hall of Hogwarts Castle records the scores of each house in real time.
Just a day ago, Slytherin was far ahead in points, holding the top spot on the leaderboard.
But now, there isn't a single emerald in the hourglass; it's been completely reset to zero.
Even Gryffindor, who were previously last in the class, have more gems than Slytherin.
The Ravenclaw House were stunned; they had inexplicably become number one on the leaderboard, and their success came as a complete surprise.
"Can anyone tell me what exactly happened last night?"
Slytherin Prefect Windsor narrowed her eyes, her gaze as sharp as a viper's, and asked coldly.
Ever since the troubles of the Thompson family business, Windsor, as a half -Prefect Half-blood wizard, has held absolute power in Slytherin.
"Windsor, yesterday the Slytherin first year..." Immediately, a lackey stepped forward.
"It was the first-year Slytherin students who did this!" Windsor's face was ashen. "What tricks are these brats playing? Go, bring them all here. I'm going to teach them a lesson."
She was aware that the young Slytherin wizards had been quite unruly over the past year.
However, she was at a crucial stage in her power struggle with Thompson at the time, so she didn't have time to act.
Now that the power struggle is over and I hold sole power in Slytherin, it's time to teach those young wizards a lesson.
"I will become the King of Slytherin!"
Meanwhile, in the Slytherin Common Room, Lester said dismissively, "Prefect Windsor wants us all to come over and says she's going to teach us a lesson?"
An extremely arrogant older girl walked slowly towards them, her words filled with haughtiness.
Slytherin values strength above all else, so it's common for upperclassmen to bully lowerclassmen.
"This is an order, not a discussion. Now, go and wake up all the first-year Slytherin. Don't keep your seniors waiting."
Lester was so angry he laughed; it was the first time anyone had dared to speak to him like that.
Those who know her would assume she's a senior in Slytherin, but those who don't might mistake her for the Head of Slytherin.
Seeing the senior's serious expression and haughty demeanor, Lester's smile slowly faded.
He waved his hand and said casually, "Jiedi, go, teach her a lesson."
The female senior was stunned for a moment, then scolded, "Don't try anything funny. I'm telling you, your time is very precious."
Lester sneered; he had long been prepared to fight the upperclassmen of Slytherin.
He dared to bomb the Ministry of Magic, let alone a few Slytherin students.
Jiedi was behind him, couldn't hold back any longer. Hearing Lester speak, he grinned maliciously and slapped the female senior twice across the face.
The female senior immediately flew into a rage, drew her wand, and roared:
"What are you trying to do? You're asking for death!... All of you, stone..."
Before she could finish speaking, an even faster incantation rang in her ears.
"Petrificus Totalus!"
Lester smiled and pulled out his wand, instantly subduing the female student.
"Jiedi, don't forget what the old man Kongzi, said."
"At sixty, one's ears are attuned to the truth; you must slap her sixty times, remember that?"
Jiedi chuckled a few times and carried the female senior to her dormitory.
Don't get me wrong, Jiedi is still a child; he's doing this to be more discreet.
After all, slapping someone in broad daylight is a bit too arrogant.
After Jiedi carried the arrogant female senior away, Lester smiled disdainfully.
"You idiot, you dare to act all high and mighty with me?"
As he spoke, Lester summoned Malfoy.
Malfoy, who had just woken up, was still sleepy. He had gone out for a night stroll the night before and was not in much energy.
"Draco, a female Prefect just sent someone to make a scene..."
After Lester finished speaking, Malfoy was already furious, his hair standing on end, and he wanted to write to his father immediately.
"Lester, I'm going to tell my father that Windsor is a Half-blood, and her parents are trash who fawn over the Ministry of Magic."
"If I write a letter to my father, they will immediately lose their jobs."
Using one's power to intimidate others is a common tactic employed by wealthy young men.
For people of the same level, they will compete within the rules.
Take Malfoy and Harry, for example; they never resort to underhanded tactics when they're up against each other.
Since their backers are all at the same level, there's no need for them to resort to underhanded tactics; doing so would be pointless.
But for Windsor, the Half-blood- race Prefect, a single word from Malfoy could cause her family to lose their livelihood.
"Malfoy, you're such a bad seed!" Lester chuckled. "No need to fire them all, just transfer them to the Auror Office."
"Anyone who can get into the Ministry of Magic is a talented individual, and the Ministry of Magic Auror. We could have Windsor's parents fill the gap."
Malfoy seemed thoughtful, then chuckled and said, "Lester, you're quite the schemer!"
Lester smiled modestly, "You're not bad either; you even know how to use underhanded tactics."
This is the biggest difference between purebloods and Half-blood, and Malfoy's first thought was to use his power to intimidate others.
However, Windsor, the Prefect, clearly lived in an ivory tower and had no idea what the real Wizarding World was like.
To succeed in this world, you need both ability and connections; not everyone can make a name for themselves.
