Lester casually pulled over a first-year wizard and said:

"After Jiedi finishes slapping him, tell him to just leave him in the lounge."

Today is Saturday, which should be a good day.

Unfortunately, today was a very difficult day for Lester and Malfoy, as they were to be put in solitary confinement.

Malfoy got into a fight with Ron Weasley during his Transfiguration, which resulted in him being put in solitary confinement for a week.

Lester also received a place in solitary confinement for organizing the Slytherin group night walk.

On the other side, Ron Weasley, also with a bitter face, said goodbye to Harry and went to Filch's office alone.

"Lester, what do you think Filch will do to us? I heard from the older students that he's a psychopath."

On the way to Filch's office, Malfoy chattered on and on.

This was his first time being put in solitary confinement, but he wasn't nervous at all.

It wasn't for any other reason than that his older Lester was standing right next to him, so what was he afraid of?

Lester pondered for a moment and said, "Who knows? We'll find out when we see him."

As a time traveler, Lester knows a secret Filch has, a secret he never wants anyone to know.

That is, Filch, the castle caretaker of Hogwarts, is actually a Squib.

The meaning of Squib is simple: someone who cannot cast spells.

However, unlike Muggle, Squib are not affected by Muggle-Repelling Charm charms and can see many Magical Creatures, such as ghosts.

They are not recognized by wizards, nor accepted by the Wizarding World.

Born into a magical family, they were completely unable to adapt to Muggle society.

Therefore, they remained dependent on others in the Wizarding World, becoming useless people who could be bullied by anyone.

For example, Filch was able to become the castle caretaker of Hogwarts because he received Dumbledore's help.

As the castle caretaker of Hogwarts, Filch has his own office, located on the first floor of the castle in a corner.

Lester and Malfoy arrived at Filch's office door just in time, only to be greeted by Ron Weasley had also just arrived.

"That wretched Weasley, he's disgusting!" Malfoy said curtly. "The thought of being locked up with someone like him makes me feel sick."

In Malfoy's eyes, Ron Weasley was Potter's lackey, just as detestable as Potter himself.

Lester smiled but didn't say anything. He had been annoyed with Ron Weasley for a long time, and if given the chance, he wouldn't mind giving Ron Weasley a hard time.

Ron Weasley glared at Lester and Malfoy with displeasure; the two had a terrible reputation in Gryffindor.

So the three of them stood facing each other outside Filch's office.

Until, the door to Filch's office was pushed open from the inside.

"Three little wizards who made a mistake... fantastic," Filch said sinisterly, a cruel smile playing on his lips.

Staring at Lester and his two companions, Filch said coldly, "What are you still doing standing at the door? Do you want me to invite you in?"

Malfoy and Ron Weasley's expressions both changed. Although they were mentally prepared, facing Filch directly was still incredibly nerve-wracking.

Only Lester is not flustered at all; on the contrary, he is even eager to try.

He's just a Squib; even if he stood still and let Filch shoot, he wouldn't be able to hurt a hair on his head.

Most importantly, I have a mission to complete right now.

You can give your own little brother a Task Points whenever you or your little brother receive extra points or praise from Hogwarts professors or staff.

One hundred Task Points equal one Doran's Ring, and my Fear Points has accumulated to nearly 500,000 after several attempts.

The Sorting Hat, which probably knows its own situation, is still lying in the Headmaster's Office. You can't guard against a thief forever.

Who knows when the Sorting Hat might have a memory lapse and recall that day?

If Dumbledore to lead a large army to attack Azkaban, his empire would be destroyed.

I'm afraid my underlings will have no choice but to go to the United States in the future.

Although Filch is a Squib, he still holds some power within Hogwarts.

Most importantly, he is a faculty member, and he can earn Task Points by praising himself or Malfoy.

"I heard from Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape that you three naughty children will be locked up here for a week."

Filch, like a man-eating beast, sized up Lester and his companions, emitting a strange laugh.

Malfoy and Ron Weasley felt uneasy under his gaze, while Lester remained calm and unfazed.

"I often suggest to Headmaster Dumbledore that we reinstate the school's old system of corporal punishment; only in this way can you bunch of annoying troublemakers be taught a lesson."

Filch glanced at the discarded torture instruments in the office.

Whips, chains, shackles—they had it all.

Stroking the whip in his hand, Filch reminisced about the happy times he used to punish his students.

After a moment of reminiscence, seeing the three young wizards before him, Malfoy and Ron Weasley, apart from Lester, were trembling with fear.

Filch then slowly said, "Your task is simple: come with me to the castle and clean."

"During the day, I will take you to clean various parts of the castle. As for the night, you will need to help me find the little wizards who roam at night."

As he spoke, Filch took three brooms from the corner of the office and handed them to Lester and the other two.

"You are not allowed to use magic while the room is locked; you can only use these things for cleaning," Filch said coldly.

Taking the broom from Filch, Lester swept the floor a couple of times with a practiced air, and it was quite good!

Malfoy, on the other hand, looked bitter. As a pampered young master, he was used to being waited on hand and foot and had never used a broom before.

Even Ron Weasley, who came from a poor background, was quite dissatisfied. Holding the broom, Ron Weasley asked in a self-righteous manner, "Why don't we use a wand? You know we're wizards, and Scourgify is a very simple spell; even I know it."

Ron Weasley pulled out his wand, intending to demonstrate.

Seeing Ron Weasley's reaction, not only was Lester somewhat helpless, but even Malfoy was speechless at Ron Weasley's lack of intelligence.

This is solitary confinement, it's to punish your mistake, not to make you clean.

Sure enough, when Ron Weasley pulled out his wand, Filch, whose face was already quite grim, immediately flew into a rage.

"What are you doing? I told you you can't use your wand during lockout! Are you an idiot, or can't you understand human language?!"

Filch looked at Ron Weasley, who was waving his wand with an indifferent expression, and felt like he was about to explode with anger.

What he had pursued his entire life, these little wizards were born with—this was his eternal pain as Squib.

After being scolded by Filch, Ron Weasley immediately lost his temper.

"Why can't I use magic? Isn't it normal to use magic in the Wizarding World? Besides, even a novice wizard like me knows the Scourgify spell."

Ron Weasley, not to be outdone, immediately demonstrated it in front of Filch.

Ron Weasley clumsily waved his wand, confidently chanting what he thought was a simple spell, and cast it on a clump of trash in the corner.

"Kalin Apo!"

Unfortunately, while Scourgify is simple, not everyone can do it successfully on their first try.

Although Ron Weasley, born into a wizarding family, often saw his mother use Cleaning Charm, he had never cast one himself.

And so, he failed quite predictably.
