"Make a deal!"

Filch agreed without hesitation. Trading a map for a wand that could cast Petrification Curse was a win-win situation no matter how you looked at it.

Although Filch didn't know what the map in the twins' hands was, he knew enough that it was in their possession.

"Master Malfoy, I'll go and catch the little wizards who're out at night right now. I'm sure those two Weasley twins are up to nocturnal wanderings around the castle."

After Filch left, the office fell silent again.

Ever since Malfoy gave Filch the wand, Filch has allowed them to do whatever they want in the office.

"Malfoy, go find the twin brothers after class tomorrow and buy them some interesting little toys."

Lester turned to Malfoy and handed him a small bag of Galleon.

Although Filch was the castle caretaker, he didn't have much power. Not only did the professors not need to pay him any attention, but even the students could bully him.

Therefore, Lester will not place all his hopes on Filch; he wants to pursue both simultaneously.

The Weasley family was always short of money, and their children used things that were old and worn out.

Unlike Ron Weasley, who only complains, the Weasley twins are smart; they know the importance of making money.

If you can offer a suitable price, you might be able to buy the Marauder's Map from them.

Early in the morning, the first-year Slytherin and Gryffindor wizards gathered once again in the Potions Classroom on the lower level.

As soon as the school bell rang, Professor Snape, dragging his long cloak, pushed open the door and entered with a dark expression.

"Today we're going to learn about the Potions called the Draught of Living Death, a very powerful sleeping pill, also known as the Draught of Living Death."

Professor Snape's voice remained as cold as ever, and he taught in a very slow and deliberate manner.

After briefly explaining the general procedure, Professor Snape indicated that the students could try it on their own.

First-year potions are usually quite simple, and even though Lester was working alone, he still managed to make the potion smoothly.

Snape quickly picked up the potion Lester had made, examined it from head to toe, nodded slightly, and said calmly, "Mr. Bide, not bad, Slytherin 10 points!"

Normally, Snape wouldn't give Lester, that pretentious show-off, any credit.

However, Slytherin's House Points are currently too low, Professor Snape will have to resort to some underhanded tactics in order to win the House Cup.

Sure enough, just after giving Lester points, Snape came up to Harry and said coldly:

"Potter, is your brain made of Dungbomb? Powdered Asphodel Root and mugwort need to be heated to 90 degrees Celsius, not heated for two minutes and then put in."

"Because of your stupidity, Gryffindor will lose 10 points!"

Giving points to their own people and deducting points from others—that's the secret to Slytherin's consistent House Cup victories.

In the front row of the classroom, Malfoy, looking radiant, was brewing Potions with Hermione.

"We can chop the mugwort into small pieces first, and then put it together with the mercury powder root. This will allow it to react fully."

Hermione frowned, puzzled. "But the textbook says we can just put it in there."

Malfoy smiled smugly and said gently, "This is a method not written in textbooks. Trust me, we'll get the professor's praise."

Sure enough, when Professor Snape examined Malfoy and Hermione's potions, he immediately began to praise them lavishly.

"A very clever approach! Chopping the mugwort into small pieces increases its surface area in contact with the liquid. Slytherin 10 points!"

After giving Malfoy points, Snape turned and left as if he hadn't even seen Hermione, leaving Hermione heartbroken.

[Ding! You have received praise from Professor Snape. Task Points +1]

[Ding! You have received a bonus from Professor Snape, Task Points +1]

[Ding! Malfoy has received praise from Professor Snape, Task Points +1]

[Ding! Malfoy has received a bonus from Professor Snape, Task Points +1]

It must be said that Professor Snape truly lived up to his title as Head of Slytherin; he was incredibly generous when it came to giving credit to his own people.

In just one Potions, Lester earned 20 Task Points.

With the Task Points gained from Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts, Lester now has a total of 80 Task Points.

If you perform well in the next class, you can exchange it for a Doran's Ring.

Then I can sneak out of Hogwarts and take the Sorting Hat out.

After class, on his way back to his dormitory, Lester happened to see Filch waiting for him at the door.

"Mr. Bide, you're finally back!" Filch greeted Lester immediately upon seeing Lester.

Lester and led Filch to a secluded corner, knowing that Filch must have something to say to him.

"I caught the twins out for a night stroll last night, but they wouldn't talk about the map when I interrogated them."

"Even when I promised to let them go if they handed over the map, they refused, claiming they had no idea what a map was."

Lester; he knew that the Marauder's Map wasn't something easily obtained.

In fact, he didn't have much hope for either Filch or Malfoy.

The Marauder's Map records everyone in Hogwarts, as well as various secret passages and Chamber of Secrets.

If we could get hold of him, it would mean having control over the movements of everyone in Hogwarts Castle, including the four heads of the house and the legendary wizard Dumbledore.

"It seems we'll have to take this a long time to plan," Lester thought to himself, before dismissing Filch.

The twins were always at Hogwarts, so he couldn't possibly attack them.

Moreover, the Weasley family are staunch supporters of Dumbledore's power, unlike the Flint, Avery, and Tuoke families, who are all Pure-blood families.

If he wanted to raid the Weasley family's property, the worst thing would be if Dumbledore showed up right after he kidnapped Arthur Weasley and his wife.

Then all his brothers in Azkaban would have to leave their homeland and migrate to United States with him.

Therefore, the best way is to obtain the Weasley twins ' Marauder's Map within the rules.

The method is simple: although Hogwarts is powerful, it is nominally under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Magic.

If Fudge can become a minister, he can certainly organize a research team to conduct research at Hogwarts.

I'll have the prisoners disguise themselves as Ministry of Ministry of Magic officials and sneak in openly.

I believe that once the prisoners are allowed in, they should have no problem stealing something from the two junior wizards, given their abilities.
