An All-First-Year Quidditch Team
I wonder if it's because of Harry Potter, but this year's Slytherin class has an unusually large number of talented students.
Just as Harry has a group of main characters around him, Lester also has a group of villains around him.
Malfoy, Jiedi, Kitty, Pansy, Goyle, Crabbe, and themselves—these six could easily form a Quidditch team.
Even if I compromise with these older Slytherin for the sake of the team, Slytherin might not win the championship.
Therefore, why should I compromise with others? I might as well lead my own small team.
"Lester, have you thought this through? You really intend to expel us?" an older student said in disbelief.
Slytherin's house team is short of players, and instead of valuing them, Lester wants to fire them.
Another older Quidditch player was also getting anxious.
It's worth noting that although he had been bullied by Marcus and his two companions in the group, he still managed to thrive in Slytherin thanks to his status Quidditch player.
Just like in United States movies, the bullies are always members of the football team.
The Quidditch team members were prominent figures throughout the house, respected by everyone.
"You can't expel us. You're just the captain of the Slytherin team," said an older student who didn't want to be expelled. "Only Professor Snape can expel us. Your word doesn't count, little wizard."
"Who said I was going to fire you?"
Lester sneered and said slowly, "Don't say I didn't give you a chance. Now I'm giving you four people two choices."
"First, we should honestly find Professor Snape, tell him that we have health problems, and voluntarily step down to make way for him."
"Secondly, he didn't listen to me, so I had someone beat him up, and he was forced to leave the team due to physical reasons."
"Now, you may begin your selection."
As soon as he finished speaking, the four upperclassmen who had just wanted to tear Lester apart immediately calmed down.
They were too excited just now, so they overlooked his status as the school bully of Lester and assumed he was the one who could reason with them.
But in reality, Lester doesn't reason with you at all.
"I gave you a decent chance, but if you don't cherish it, the consequences won't be so decent!"
Lester pulled out a pocket watch and said calmly, "If I don't receive news of your voluntary withdrawal from the Quidditch team within ten minutes, then you will be my enemies."
"My methods for dealing with enemies are very ruthless, and I hope the four of you can withstand it!"
Upon hearing this, the backs of the four upperclassmen were already soaked with sweat.
They had all witnessed how badly Marcus and his two companions had been tormented by Lester.
Even a school bully like Marcus was no match for Lester, so how could they dare to oppose Lester?
"Lyco, I was wrong, I'll go find Professor Snape right now."
One student couldn't resist any longer and dashed out, running quickly towards Snape's office.
The other three students quickly followed, afraid that if they were even a step too late, they would become Lester's enemy.
After those four students, only Marcus and two others stood trembling behind Lester.
They were already terrified of Lester, and now, after witnessing Lester ruthless methods, they were even more afraid.
Marcus's voice trembled as he asked, "Lord Lai, is there anything else you need me to do?"
Marcus was now utterly terrified of Lester; that little wizard was nothing short of a demon in human skin.
You can't think about anything too much, because the more you think about it, the more afraid you become.
When were the Flint, Avery, Tuoke families, three Pure-blood families, raided and their property confiscated?
Marcus had previously believed that some powerful force was targeting his family.
In hindsight, it turns out that he had offended Lester the day before, and his entire family had disappeared the next day.
The same thing happened again; he insulted Lester the day before, and the next day his father's fingers arrived.
This is just too scary!
You should know that he only expressed his dissatisfaction with Lester in public, and as a result, his whole family was kidnapped.
Isn't that a bit too petty?
Marcus wasn't stupid; he naturally wouldn't dare offend a ruthless and petty big shot.
"That's all," Lester waved his hand and said, "Go and call Malfoy, Jiedi, Kitty, Miti, Goyle, and Pansy over here, and then you're done."
Marcus nodded quickly. "Yes, Lord Lai, I'll go and fetch your friend right away."
Marcus was very efficient because he feared that if he was slow, Lester would think he was being displeased and doing so on purpose.
Given Lester's petty and narrow-minded nature, he'll probably suffer the consequences again.
A few minutes later, the six Malfoy appeared before Lester with great enthusiasm.
"Lester, are you planning to have us join Slytherin's Quidditch team?"
Malfoy asked eagerly, "This is so cool! To be on the house team in my first year! My father will be so proud of me!"
The others were also incredibly excited, all expressing their anticipation for Slytherin the Quidditch team in Slytherin.
Given the scarcity of entertainment options in the Wizarding World Wizarding World, Quidditch is arguably the most popular sport there.
Therefore, almost all Quidditch players are prominent figures at Hogwarts.
No child can resist the opportunity to shine, especially Slytherin who craves recognition.
"Of course!" Lester shrugged, saying helplessly, "The senior team members couldn't stand me, a freshman, being captain, so they left the team to embarrass me, wanting me to be a lone commander."
Upon hearing this, Malfoy and the others were immediately filled with righteous indignation, expressing their dissatisfaction with the players who had taken advantage of their misfortune.
Malfoy even wrote to his father, asking him to make things difficult for the players' parents at work.
Only Marcus cautiously pursed his lips, not exposing Lester's lie.
The veteran players really disliked Lester, a freshman, being captain, and wanted to embarrass him.
However, Marcus couldn't agree with the idea of voluntarily leaving the team.
But would he dare say it? His entire family was still in Lester's hands; he'd better keep quiet.
"But would Professor Snape agree?" Jiedi asked hesitantly.
He longed to be a crazy Quidditch player, but he wasn't entirely sure about Snape's attitude.
"Professor Snape will agree," Lester said without hesitation. "The professor is very open-minded. I'll talk to him, and he'll definitely agree!"
With all the veteran Slytherin members having left the team, Professor Snape had no choice but to accept this group of first-year students.
Moreover, even if he could find some senior players willing to play Quidditch, Lester could help them voluntarily leave the team.
In short, the Slytherin Quidditch Team must be entirely composed of their own people and firmly under their control!
