Neville Was Bullied
The train wasn't leaving for another half hour, but as soon as that little witch came in, you couldn't wait to get on. Old Malfoy didn't even bother to see through Draco's little schemes.
Old Malfoy pondered for a moment, then said calmly, "You must study hard at school. You're still young, and there are some things you can't see in the whole picture."
"Back then, your father was just like you. I remember back then..."
Before Lucius could finish explaining to Malfoy, Malfoy dragged his luggage and boarded the train, leaving Lucius bewildered in the wind.
Meanwhile, not far away, the talents of Azkaban also gathered to see Lester off.
Because he had the House-elf Kaka, Lester was empty-handed and hadn't brought anything with him.
He actually disliked formalism, but at his younger brother's request, he reluctantly allowed everyone to see him off.
After watching Lester board the train, the group did not leave immediately, but lingered at the train station.
"A Biao, look, isn't that blond guy from the Malfoy family?" Scarface tugged at Sang Biao's sleeve and pointed at Lucius, who stood out from the crowd.
Sang Biao was once a henchman of the Yunus family, so he naturally knew the leaders of the major Pure-blood families.
"That's right, he is Lucius Malfoy, the patriarch of the Malfoy family."
Upon hearing that this person was the incredibly wealthy Lucius Malfoy, all the prisoners became excited.
To get Lester to school, all the important people in Azkaban came out, except for those who couldn't get away.
The sleazy old man Leona, Scarface Breaking Bad, and the Third Dark Lord, Sang Biao.
The three leaders of Azkaban were all formidable figures.
Leona pondered for a moment, then whispered, "I have a bold idea..."
Seeing this Sang Biao and Scarface immediately leaned in to listen, and a few minutes later, all three of them revealed evil smiles.
Lucius, who was not far away, broke out in a cold sweat for no apparent reason.
Riding the Hogwarts Express, Lester watched the scenery rushing past the window.
Thanks to his status as the leader of Slytherin, he had his own private box on the Hogwarts Express.
Malfoy went off to bother Hermione and ended up sitting with a bunch of Gryffindor girls.
Jiedi and his friends were also in a great hurry, taking over Malfoy's daily tasks and going to provoke the Gryffindor students.
It's clear that these people were really bored during their holiday.
Just as Lester was looking out the window, a loud commotion erupted outside the private room.
"Neville, you're really stupid. You've been in school for half a year, and you still can't even cast a Levitation Charm."
"Honestly, how did someone like you get assigned to Gryffindor? You're clearly dragging down our honor."
"Alright, everyone, stop talking about Neville. Neville is just a little slow-witted, but with effort, he can be just as good as a normal little wizard."
Inside the private room, Lester couldn't help but furrow his brow slightly.
He had initially thought that Jiedi and his gang were bullying someone else, but he never expected that the one being bullied was actually Neville.
Moreover, the people who bullied Neville were none other than Gryffindor's own people.
Instead of rushing out to stop him, Lester listened attentively in the private room.
Outside the private room, poor Neville was surrounded by two men and a woman, one of whom was Neville's classmate, both first-year students.
The other boy, who was a bit taller, was a fourth-year student in Gryffindor.
At this moment, the fourth-year student was incredibly hypocritical, pretending to reprimand the other two:
"You two juniors are really something. Neville is just a little slow-witted, how can you talk about him like that?"
"I've noticed you guys bully Neville quite a bit, haven't you?"
A flicker of gratitude flashed in Neville's eyes. Naively, he believed that all the senior students in his academy were trustworthy, unaware that wherever there are people, there is a world of intrigue.
A boy and a girl from the first year chimed in, "Dean, how could we possibly bully him? It's just that this idiot is dragging down our grades."
The girl, while giving Dean a flirtatious look with her big eyes, said in a coquettish voice, "You don't know, Neville has some mental issues. Thomas told me that he often cries in the Gryffindor Common Room, and it's affecting everyone's studies."
Neville's classmates chimed in, "That's right! Not only is Neville mentally challenged, but he's also a terrible student. He's the slowest Charms in class, he's dragging us down. Even those bad seeds from Slytherin look down on him!"
Neville's face was extremely pale, and he felt incredibly wronged. He looked to Dean for help, hoping he would speak up for him.
Dean completely ignored Neville's pitiful look and said righteously, "Junior Neville, you're doing something wrong. The lounge is for resting and studying, not for wiping away your tears."
"Furthermore, you're slow at learning spells, causing Gryffindor to lose face in front of those bad seeds from Slytherin. That's really not your fault."
Neville felt extremely wronged, and at the same time, he hated himself for being such a useless person.
"Could it really be that I was wrong?" Neville muttered to himself, somewhat doubting his own existence.
Just then, Dean said, "How about this? To prevent you from holding Gryffindor back, I can tutor you in spells during my free time."
"However, this certainly comes at a price. After all, senior's time is also very valuable. One Galleon per class, that's settled then."
"I'll start tutoring you after school starts!"
"One Galleon per class!" Neville could hardly believe Dean's words.
A Ministry of Ministry of Magic employee only earns 30 Galleon a month, this Dean is really asking for it!
"It's settled then!" Dean said domineeringly, his tone leaving no room for argument. "I'm doing this for your own good, senior."
Dean added in a threatening tone, "Neville, if others find out that you've dragged Gryffindor down and made them the laughingstock of the Slytherin bad seeds, you know the consequences!"
Hearing his senior's blatant threat, Neville felt utterly hopeless.
Inside the private room, Lester, who knew the cause and course of events, also wore a cold expression.
The Neville family were heroes who dedicated their lives to the Ministry of Magic, but ironically, heroes are often the most tragic.
If Neville's parents had both died in the war, it might have been more helpful for Neville's life, as the Ministry of Magic would have provided them with a large sum of humanitarian compensation.
Neville will also enjoy the generous benefits of a martyr's family, receiving a monthly government allowance and subsidies, and will be a symbol of impeccable character within the Ministry of Magic in the future.
However, Neville's parents did not die; instead, they needed to remain hospitalized at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Because Neville's grandmother is still alive, the Ministry of Magic is willing to continue providing medical expenses, but is unwilling to provide Neville with excessive subsidies.
This is indeed more than enough, considering that medical expenses at St. Mungo's's are not cheap.
Moreover, in Lester's opinion, Dumbledore, not the Ministry of Magic, should be the one to compensate the Longbottom family!
