Slander
The first task Su Yu gave Rita Skeeter was to write the unofficial history of the man named Tom Riddle.
The next day, the Daily Prophet's headline prominently featured the words "The Love and Hate of You-Know-Who."
It details how You-Know-Who and Hagrid were once secret lovers, how their love was passionate and intense. Heaven knows, when Hagrid broke up with him, You-Know-Who, in an attempt to win him back, sacrificed his handsome appearance, transforming into Hagrid's favorite Fantastic Beasts. This account was provided by Myrtle, who witnessed their argument in the bathroom years ago, and for this, she sacrificed her life...
In the days that followed, incredibly sensational content was released every day. It was said that the You-Know-Who was unaware that his mother had used Amortentia on his father years ago, and then, without fully understanding the situation, killed his father. Therefore, he ultimately developed love born from hatred, and thus disliked women, only liking men—a result of his guilt towards his father.
The reason why You-Know-Who was so extreme back then was because Headmaster Dumbledore always liked to bring little boys back to his Headmaster's Office. Back then it was You-Know-Who, now it's Potter.
Even more outrageous is the theory that the You-Know-Who might be an adopted child of Headmaster Dumbledore and that man, because the eldest son is like his father, like begets like, and the son of a mouse knows how to dig a hole; the You-Know-Who simply inherited his adoptive father's traits...
It was just a pity for Su Yu; he had been hanging at the entrance of the hall for a whole day. Professor Graves had personally hoisted him up, and none of the professors dared to stop the furious Grindelwald. Oh, and Kurama was also hanging around Su Yu's waist, because it was Kurama who came up with the last rule.
When Harry finished class, he saw Su Yu and Kurama hanging on the door of the hall. Hermione was standing on a ladder, feeding Kurama cheesecake bite by bite, while Daphne and Ginny were holding the ladder from below. Kurama was shouting as he ate.
"Why?! All we did was spread some rumors about them, and they're going to hang us on the wall? Ugh... it's so delicious... but then again, didn't they do anything wrong?! This cheesecake is so good! Mmm..."
Malfoy was currently lying on the long table in the hall, pretending to be an ostrich, shivering a little. Goyle and Crabbe were protecting him, while Pansy and Astoria kept rolling their eyes. The story of Headmaster Dumbledore and the little boy Harry was written by Malfoy.
Su Yu didn't care and greeted the passing classmates on the wall without a care in the world. Fred and George, however, were a little indignant. They had never enjoyed this kind of treatment before! Why should Yousu Yu get the limelight?
Not long after, with a loud bang, Professor Snape, covered in dust and dirt, grabbed the two men and hung them next to Su Yu.
"Hey Su Yu! We blew up Professor Snape's office! Pretty awesome, huh!"
"..."
"You two are punished by having to stay up there sober for two days!"
"Yay! We have one day more than Su Yu!"
"Three days it is then! Also, Gryffindor loses 20 points!" Professor Snape, his face dark, limped away angrily.
On Saturday, when Su Yu and his group came out of the side gate of the castle, Kurama was perched on his shoulder, its tail drooping in front of his chest, swaying back and forth.
Su Yu was wearing a dark gray trench coat today, with a scarf wrapped twice around his neck. The end of the scarf was stepped on by Kurama's claws, and he tried to pull it off but couldn't.
You stepped on my scarf.
"I did it on purpose! Hehe!" Kurama happily shook the longevity lock around his neck.
Daphne walked to Su Yu's left, wearing a light blue thick robe, her hair loose and slightly disheveled by the wind, which she would occasionally reach out to tidy it up.
She was carrying a small basket containing a few butter cookies she had baked herself—she said she wanted to give them to the owner of Honeydukes to try and ask her for the recipe.
Hermione walked to Su Yu's right, wearing a Gryffindor red and gold scarf, thickly wrapped around her several times, revealing only her eyes. Her curly hair was a mess under her hat, with a few strands peeking out from the brim and fluttering in the wind.
"Aren't you hot wearing so much?" Ginny walked up from behind, wearing a dark red thick coat, her hair tied in a low ponytail, holding a Sugar Quill in her hand, crunching loudly. She had started eating it before even leaving the school gate.
"It's October, where's the heat?" Hermione's voice came from behind her scarf.
Su Yu didn't join in their bickering. He scooped Kurama off his shoulder and held her in his arms. Kurama changed position, burying her face in his arms and curling her tail to cover her nose.
Daphne glanced at Kurama, took a small biscuit from the basket and handed it to him. Kurama stretched out a paw from behind his tail, took the biscuit, and then withdrew it.
"You really spoil her," Su Yu said.
"Because she's more obedient than you."
The old oak tree at the Hogsmeade Village had lost half its leaves, its bare branches stretching towards the Sky Void like an old man's outstretched fingers.
Under the tree is a stone tablet inscribed with "Hogsmeade - built in the 13th century AD". The inscription has been blurred by wind and rain, and only a few letters can be barely made out.
The rooftops of the village houses were covered with deep red ivy, and the maple leaves gradually changed from golden yellow to orange-red. When the wind blew, the whole street looked like it was raining colorful rain.
The Honeydukes window has been decorated for autumn, and inside is a large pumpkin made of icing, with its mouth wide open, revealing a row of crooked sugar teeth, and its eyes are two black licorice candies.
Next to the pumpkin was a mountain of candy— Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frog, Fizzing Whizzbees, and Exploding Bonbons, all in vibrant colors, shimmering under the lights.
The shop was warm, with a roaring fire in the fireplace and the sweet aroma of sugar and chocolate filling the air.
Several Hogwarts students crowded around the candy counter, chattering about something. A chubby boy, clutching a bag of gold coins, stood on tiptoe to reach for the candy on the counter.
Hermione headed straight for the fudge counter, with Ginny following behind, still chewing on the stick of the Sugar Quill. Although she had finished the candy, she couldn't bear to throw away the stick.
Daphne walked up to the shop owner, handed her the small basket, and the shop owner took it, opened the lid, smelled it, and her eyes lit up.
"Did you add cinnamon powder?" the proprietress asked.
"A little bit," Daphne said, "And cardamom."
The proprietress broke off a small piece, put it in her mouth, chewed it a couple of times, and gave a look that said, "I'm definitely taking this recipe."
"Little girl, you bring me cookies every week, I feel so bad."
"I'm glad you like it." Daphne smiled.
