The First Match Begins (I)
After breakfast, all the contestants began to head to a large classroom in the upper hall. The opening ceremony of the first competition was held in the morning, and then in the afternoon, all the teachers and students of the Hogwarts Academy and Wizardry would come to watch, which would mark the official start of the competition.
When Su Yu met Harry, he was a little nervous, his hands were clasped tightly together, and he looked quite sweaty.
The conspicuous young master Malfoy walked up, revealing an exaggerated expression. "Oh, look, isn't this the Sobbing Rubber Man? Don't be nervous. If you have any problems, hide behind me. Don't worry, I won't be the first one to throw you out."
"But your father isn't in there, Malfoy, don't wet your pants in fear!" That's how Harry and Malfoy are. When it comes to verbal sparring, Harry has never lost, but young Malfoy still enjoys it immensely, just like love.
"Damn it! I just wanted to comfort him! I've decided, I'm definitely going to be the first one to throw him out!" Young Master Malfoy cursed as he was pulled away by Astoria, who had come to watch the commotion. She saw that if they didn't stop him, Pansy was also about to join the fray. The two of them couldn't out-argue one person, poor kid.
Neville was dressed in a clean robe today, his hair was neatly styled, and he had a bulging shoulder bag slung across his shoulder, its contents unknown. The Weasley twins still had that carefree, irresponsible look, resembling two scoundrels.
Hufflepuff's two little badgers had arrived long ago and were whispering to each other. Cho Chang and Olivia arrived last.
A quick glance at the Hogwarts Academy revealed them to resemble a puppet army—disorganized and undisciplined, each member appearing as if they were on vacation, completely out of place with the other seven schools.
Minister for Magic Fudge stood on the high platform, reading his long and tedious welcoming speech. Eight headmasters stood on either side, looking very imposing. Minister Bagman watched all this with envy, fantasizing about how wonderful it would be if he were the one standing on the platform.
Half an hour later.
"Alright, enough with the chit-chat, let's announce the rules for the first match."
After rambling on for a while, Minister Fudge finally began explaining the rules of the first match.
"First, the place you're about to enter is... this canvas! Inside is a vast secret realm, but only a very small area is open to you this time."
The Champion below the stage stared in astonishment at the canvas, which stretched for nearly half a kilometer. On it, they could see clouds swirling around mountains, countless beasts roaming, and even students standing close enough to see the sun, moon, stars, and all living things.
"Quiet! This map, titled ' Map of Mountains and Seas,' was provided by the Ministry of Magic at the East University! Here, we would like to thank Headmaster Dumbledore!"
A round of applause erupted from the audience.
"Alright, let's go over the rules. There are eight academies, and each group has twenty people. You will enter eight different regions. Once inside, you will receive prompts. Based on these prompts, you will work together as a team to obtain the fur or scales of the corresponding exotic beasts. You have one week to complete this task. In other words, if you don't obtain the corresponding item within seven days, you fail. Conversely, the faster you obtain it, the higher your score! Also, the more you obtain, the higher your score will be!"
The students below began to murmur amongst themselves. Su Yu frowned; the uncertainty was too great. What if they were assigned a Qiongqi, Taotie, or Hundun? How would they fight them? Were they really going to just throw Harry over there to feed them? One Harry wouldn't be enough to satisfy their hunger...
Harry, who was standing nearby, suddenly felt a chill run down his spine; he felt as if he were being watched by something unclean.
"Can I interrupt for a moment?" Su Yu finally couldn't help but ask.
All eyes turned to Su Yu.
"What's wrong, Sue Fuli?"
Minister Fudge was a little flustered; he didn't know why Su Yu had suddenly spoken up.
"I'd like to ask, is this the 'Classic of the Classic of Mountains ' or the Classic of Seas '?"
Minister Fudge stood there dumbfounded. Was there really such a thing? He turned to look at Headmaster Dumbledore, Headmaster Dumbledore was also not quite sure. He had just asked his friend, the Minister from the East, to find this thing for him and divide it into eight areas. The requirement was that it be simple and suitable for students to pass the game. As for the specific details of how the Map of Mountains and Seas was divided and what areas were assigned to them, he really didn't know.
Looking at their expressions, Su Yu understood that they were indeed not very clear about the division of the Classic of Classic of Mountains and Seas. The Classic of Mountains Classic of Mountains and Seas is divided into five sections of mountain scriptures and thirteen sections of Classic of Seas. If it is the five Classic of Mountains, it is fine, there are no evil spirits, ferocious creatures or man-eating monsters in them, but if you go to the Classic of Seas, then it is all over, it is full of great horrors.
Minister Fudge finished his speech, Headmaster Dumbledore reiterated the important points, and all the House Champion were dismissed, waiting for the competition to begin in the afternoon. They still had plenty of time to prepare.
After returning, Goyle and Crabbe rushed straight into the house-elf's kitchen. This was a task assigned to them by Kassadin, who wanted them to bring pots and pans. After all, survival in the wild requires food. She also sent Blaise, Theodore Malfoy, and the others to prepare tents and supplies, while Daphne and the other girls went to prepare some clean water just in case.
Hufflepuff's two little badgers went back to prepare some herbs and medical supplies, while Neville went into the basement alone. He wanted to get some more useful things; he was now a bit afraid of running out of firepower.
"Harry, I think we need more weapons, don't we?" George patted Harry on the shoulder.
"Yes, I feel like we might need more Dragon Ash, sulfur, Skunk Essence, Goblin Silver Powder ..." Fred counted on his fingers.
"There are even more gold coins!"
"Right! Wait, no, why do we need gold coins?" Fred was a little confused.
"Of course it's for me!" Kurama jumped up and swung the longevity lock, making it clang.
Fa-jie pulled Kurama back. This troublemaker! The Weasley family so poor, how much gold do she expect them to give her?
The morning passed quickly, and after everyone gathered at noon and finished eating, all the Hogwarts Academy students began to head towards the Quidditch Pitch one after another.
Hermione, Ginny, Astoria, and the others kept cheering everyone on, and even Luna, who was usually ethereal, was holding the House flag and encouraging everyone.
The entire Quidditch stadium stands were filled with students and Ministry of Magic members. Several professors were comforting their students from their respective houses. Professor McGonagall's voice was trembling slightly; she was genuinely worried about these children. What a terrible Goblet of Fire! It had chosen all the children she was most concerned about.
Professor Snape didn't say much. If he was worried about Su Yu leading the team, there was no point in him going himself. So he simply handed Su Yu a bag of things and told them to be careful.
(Tomorrow we're going to study the Classic of Mountains and Seas. Harry Potter the Classic of Mountains and Seas, I don't know what I was thinking, Haha Haha. )
