Troublemakers, Part 2
Hermione didn't understand, but she nestled in Su Yu reading the book. It didn't matter where she read it, but reading in Su Yu was more atmospheric, even though it was a bit cold.
Su Yu released the two of them, then put his hands into the hole in the ice. His Chakra activated instantly, "Lightning Release! Lightning Cutter!"
In an instant, a large area of water began to boil, and a lot of ice began to crack. Su Yu picked up the two women and immediately jumped backward.
After Su Yu put the two women down and made them stand still, they stared in disbelief at the body of water in front of them. A large number of trout, carp, and bass were floating belly up on the surface of the water, along with some Plimpy and Grindylow (water sprites). There were also several Glan Merpeople floating belly up on the surface of the water, foaming at the mouth.
"Su Yu, you've really gotten yourself into trouble now. You've brought the Merpeople up here!" Hermione exclaimed in surprise at the scene before her.
Su Yu quickly grabbed the landing net and scooped up trout, carp, and bass from the lake. "Serves them right for not letting me catch any fish! And what are you two standing there for? Hurry up and scoop them up and run! Haha!"
Amidst Su Yu's hearty laughter, the three of them scooped up a large bucket of freshwater fish and hurried back to the Hogwarts Academy and Wizardry. By the time the Glan Merpeople Chieftain surfaced, cursing and swearing, wanting to demand an explanation for his people, the group had already vanished without a trace.
"Pass down my order! From now on, if you see those guys fishing again, remember to treat them like royalty! If they can't catch anything, hook them up for me. Anyone who's clueless enough to do that is relegated to guarding the outer perimeter! Can't we just avoid them if we can't afford to mess with them? You bunch of idiots! I'll have to give you all a good shock before you'll feel better!"
When Su Yu and his two companions returned to the Hogwarts Academy with a large bucket of fish, they found Daphne and the others having an elegant dinner in the Great Hall.
"Come and see! I told you I couldn't possibly fail to catch anything! Today I'll show you all what the Fishing Emperor is all about. I didn't earn that title for nothing."
As he spoke, Su Yu dumped the fish from the bucket onto the ground with a splash.
"Slytherin, five points deducted! And Sue Fuli, you'd better clean up the mess you made later."
Professor McGonagall sipped her pumpkin soup without even looking up. She was already numb to Su Yu; he was too much of a troublemaker. Out of sight, out of mind. She could just clean up the mess herself later.
Daphne and the others looked at the pile of fish on the ground that didn't move at all, and glanced at Su Yu suspiciously.
"Honey, can you explain why you just caught them? I feel like they've been dead for a while now..."
Ka-jie fed Su Yu a bite of the sandwich in her hand, and asked in his ear, "You didn't go out to buy this specifically, did you?"
"Nonsense! Hermione and Ginny can vouch for me!" Su Yu chewed on his sandwich, defending himself, "Would I be so shameless?"
The girls nodded in unison.
"Death was just an accident!" Su Yu was still trying to argue.
"Yes, they were just stunned by the electric shock, they didn't die..." Ginny nodded like a chick pecking at rice, accidentally blurting out the truth.
"You were electrofishing in Black Lake!" Daphne exclaimed, covering her mouth in surprise. "Are the fishermen there alright? I feel so sorry for them."
As expected of someone from the same family, Daphne and the others immediately guessed that, given Su Yu's personality, he would definitely forget about it and then accidentally use too much power.
"We just received a protest from the Merpeople. Slytherin, deduct 20 points!"
Professor Snape walked in from outside the hall, glared at Su Yu, and strode to his seat, wearing his robe.
"Very well, no need to say more, I can already picture that scene..." Daphne pointed at the impetuous fellow and sighed.
"Oh, we didn't go to Hogsmeade today. We just heard from the students who came back that Hogsmeade was flooded with popcorn today. We don't know what happened."
Fa-jie held a glass of Pumpkin Juice in one hand, took a sip with her bright red lips, and then spoke.
"Submerged in popcorn? What the hell?" Su Yu couldn't even imagine the scene; he felt that these words left his mind feeling intellectually barren.
"Yes, it's like popcorn is raining down from the Sky Void, and there's a torrent of popcorn on the ground. Those unlucky guys who came back are still pulling popcorn out of their clothes."
"Wow, that must be gorgeous! So romantic, isn't it? Is someone proposing with popcorn?"
Ginny hugged Fa-jie's arm and kissed her with a look of longing.
"I don't know if it's romantic or not, but it's true that the students who came back were all cursing. I saw it with my own eyes."
Just then, the hall doors were pushed open again.
"Surprise! We're back!"
Kurama shouted and jumped in, her head and tail covered in popcorn crumbs. Just as she was about to jump into Su Yu's arms, Su Yu froze her in place, brushed the popcorn off her, and then picked her up. However, ever since Su Yu saw Kurama enter, he had felt a pang of unease, as if something terrible was about to happen.
Then, to the astonishment of all the teachers and students in the school and those from other schools, four more students, panting heavily, walked in one after another.
Each of the four of them was dragging a large bag on their back. The bags were so big that they were almost like shipping containers, blocking the entrance to the Great Hall of the Hogwarts Academy.
"Blaise, Theodore... please help me... I have no strength left..."
Malfoy felt like his lungs were about to burst out of his chest; it was so heavy! Pansy was almost rolling her eyes from exhaustion, lying on the ground panting heavily. Only Goyle and Crabbe were doing okay, but they were also panting heavily.
Alright, Su Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief. There was no doubt that the popcorn incident today was their doing.
"Su Yu, how about I treat the whole school to popcorn?"
Kurama blinked in Su Yu, hoping to get away with it by acting cute.
"You two are troublemakers! We were only gone for a short while, and you two have gotten into bigger and bigger trouble than the last. Tell me quickly, what exactly happened?"
Daphne took Kurama back from Su Yu's arms and asked her questions.
The Kurama maintains his innocence!
"It's all Malfoy and his two buddies' fault! Pansy and I just stood by and watched!"
Get to the point!
"Waaaah, don't hit my head! Malfoy and the others had absolutely no idea how to operate that popcorn machine. They stuffed all the food and seasonings in, but obviously, the machine didn't have enough capacity. They even used Ancient Magic to protect it and keep it running. And then, obviously, the machine exploded! Popcorn flew everywhere! The gushing popcorn even washed me away! I'm never eating popcorn again! Can you imagine what it feels like to be drowned in popcorn and almost die?"
