Entrance

Having finished everything, Green returned to the camp. During this time, Newt and the others naturally noticed Green's departure, but nobody pressed for details since everyone had their own secrets.

Time passed quickly, and the day for the ruins to open, as mentioned by Newt, finally arrived.

The sky was a dull gray, with large patches of dark clouds obscuring the entire firmament. The thick cloud layer carried a hint of black, and the whole world seemed to be immersed in boundless gloom. Green lifted the flap of his tent and slowly stepped out, the surrounding environment giving him a repressive feeling.

The Darknight Forest appeared unusually quiet today. With the absence of sunlight, the forest looked extremely desolate, and the gloom within the woods seemed ready to swallow people whole.

The time has finally come! Green let out a long breath, adjusting his mindset.

Turning back into the tent, Green began his final preparations. Raising his hands, three rings and one bracelet were clearly visible. On the thumb of Green's right hand was a one-time-use teleportation device meant for escape, while the two middle fingers of his left and right hands wore two crafted wizard items he had purchased himself—the Spirit-Control Ring and the Spirit-Breaking Ring—specifically targeted against spirits.

The bracelet on his right arm was a spatial equipment item he had purchased. Probing it with his Mental Power, he found it packed with a large number of potions and various spellcasting mediums used to enhance the power of sorceries.

With a flash of Green's bracelet, a set of Knight armor and a longsword radiating energy fluctuations appeared inside the tent.
