All the Little Treants suddenly began shouting at the top of their lungs, leaving Green speechless. He ignored their antics.

Green sat down and swept a hand out, bringing a heap of things onto the ground: clothes, metal armor and a Longsword, plenty of Potions, and assorted odds and ends.

Feeling sufficiently prepared, Green sent his Mental Power into the human-shaped figure before him.

As his Mental Power entered Fake Green, Green, still seated on the ground, slowly closed his eyes.

"This body is so weak!" Fake Green, who had stood motionless until now, suddenly spoke.

This was Puppet Sorcery Green had specifically learned at the Academy. By splitting off a small portion of his Mental Power and injecting it into a new body, he could gain a remotely controlled Puppet for exploring ruins.

Even losing it would not cause much harm. Its strength was poor, though, making it useless in a fight.

Most importantly, he could not use the Chip's detection function through it. He could still send information back through Mental Power for the Chip to analyze.

Though useless in direct combat, it was excellent Sorcery for an expedition like this.

Looking at himself sitting on the ground felt strange, but Green had no time to dwell on it. Access to these ruins was limited; he could not waste time.

Fake Green quickly put on the clothes and armor, picked up the Potions, and took a deep breath. At the entrance, beside the gray-black wall, he lifted a foot and stepped straight in.
