Beneath the azure sky, a flock of seabirds circled a massive fleet on the boundless ocean, their cries ringing out now and then.
At the front, middle, and rear of the fleet, a large ship served as the core, while the smaller vessels clustered protectively around it.
One after another, inhuman monsters stood along the rails, gazing in the direction the fleet was headed, their eyes alight with the fervor of conquest and slaughter.
Yet the white radiance that occasionally emanated from the ships concealed the auras of these inhuman monsters, preventing even the slightest trace from leaking out.
Under normal circumstances, the aura alone from such a vast gathering of an Evil race would have frightened every seabird away, keeping them from approaching on instinct.
At the center of the fleet stood a Fire Salamander Folk, thirteen meters long, with a human torso and a serpent's tail. It held a scarlet Longsword, and its body was covered in crimson scales that occasionally exhaled wisps of reddish smoke. When it saw the seabirds circling the fleet, its pupils suddenly narrowed.
Seabirds were creatures that only gathered in great numbers near land.
Once it confirmed this, the Fire Salamander Folk went straight into the large ship behind it.
As it entered, however, its body suddenly rippled, rapidly shrinking until it stood only a meter or two tall.
The ship was covered in special magic. Its serpent's tail, which was nearly a hundred degrees hot, slithered across the deck without leaving a trace.
The inside of the ship was not as dark as one might expect.
On the contrary, it was exceptionally bright, with luminous crystals illuminating every corner.
The Fire Salamander Folk hurried through the ship, passing guards from all sorts of races along the way.
