"Still, my foundation was far weaker than other apprentices'. I had a lot to make up for." Green's voice was full of resignation.
Compared with other apprentices, Green knew little Higher Knowledge. He had only bought a few Higher Knowledge scrolls when he left the Academy for the second time.
Most apprentices spent ten to twenty years as Wizard Apprentices. Green had spent six years at most, and only a little over half a year of that at the Academy. He had studied only basic courses and had barely touched the advanced ones.
Over those long years, ordinary apprentices encountered all kinds of advanced courses, learned Combination Sorcery, and acquired magical implements of their own.
If other apprentices heard Green complaining about this, they would probably hurl every spell they knew straight into his face.
"I need to find an Advanced Meditation Method and make progress in Alchemy too!"
After becoming a Formal Wizard, the Basic Meditation Method offered Green little help. Its boost to his meditation speed had begun to fade. Only an Advanced Meditation Method of the same level could keep increasing it.
Having chosen the Extreme Meditation Method, he could not avoid potions. They offered the most direct help during a Wizard's meditation.
"I'll have to search the Ancient Ruins for an Advanced Meditation Method. I can only ask the others in the Extreme School if they've heard of any Ancient Ruins!"
"Alchemy shouldn't be much of a problem. With the Chip's precision, preparing potions is easy for me right now!"
Thinking of the Chip reminded Green of something else. As he grew stronger, his own computational ability kept improving. His logical reasoning could even keep pace with the Chip, though he still lagged far behind in mechanical calculations.
