Background / History

Olga Marie serves as Chaldea's Director during the Spirit Transfer test. She places great trust in Lev Lainur Flauros, whose reassurance initially relieves her concerns about the test's safety. When the control room is destroyed, however, her lack of Spiritron Transfer aptitude means that only her soul reaches Singularity F. 12 13

While fleeing Dragon Tooth Warriors through burning Fuyuki, she is rescued by Bai Ming's magecraft. Bai Ming then tells her that her body has died and offers survival only through an unequal familiar contract. Olga Marie accepts, becoming a soul sustained within Bai Ming's body and magical energy. 12 13

Despite her inability to fight directly, she insists on contributing to the Singularity F investigation as a battlefield medic. She takes charge when the group establishes contact with Chaldea, gives operational orders to Mash and Akuta Hinako, and appoints Romani Archaman as acting director for the surviving staff. 13

After learning of Lev's betrayal, Olga Marie struggles with her worth and her former reliance on him. Nevertheless, she chooses to trust Bai Ming completely, swearing on the Animusphere family's honor to remain loyal to him until her life ends. She is serious, strict, justice-driven, emotionally volatile, and more compassionate than most magi. Her inability to immediately understand chaotic situations often leaves her acting as an observer until she has enough information to decide what to do. 136
