Chapter Summaries

Mantis revealed Ego’s plan to assimilate the universe, and Jerry’s group prepared to stop him. Star-Lord confronted Ego about his mother, then unleashed his Celestial Power as Jerry began pulling Ego’s Planet into Ring World.

• Mantis warned Drax that Ego’s plan was about to succeed and urged him to leave the planet.
• Jerry asked Mantis to help fight Ego by using her abilities to put him to sleep, and she agreed after Drax encouraged her.

Jerry drew Ego's Planet into the Ring World and used its laws, along with help from the believers and Clow Reed's group, to restrain Ego. With Mantis holding Ego still, Jerry reached the brain at the planet's center and unleashed Fairy Law.
