(Second update)
The Shrek Academy group squeezed into the Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena without incident and arrived at the rest area specially provided for competing academies within the main venue.
The spacious rest area contained a full thousand seats, divided into separate sections for the various Soul Master Academies to rest and wait.
Looking around, other competing teams had long since gathered here. Their attire was nowhere near as bizarre as Shrek Academy's. Most wore gold, silver, red, or white team uniforms decorated with various ornaments, patterns, and academy emblems. Naturally, none of them had anything like a sponsor's logo.
As Yang Ming and the others made their way over, they had already drawn the intense attention of the other teams.
After all, most Spirit Masters these days were still stuck in the low-level mindset of hunting Soul Beasts for Soul Rings. Few had considered taming Soul Beasts as mounts, and even those who had lacked the ability to do so.
As a result, under the scrutiny of so many bright eyes, quite a few members of the Shrek group wore awkward expressions.
Only Yang Ming, the person at the center of it all, seemed unconcerned and carried on as usual. Several team-leading teachers from other academies admired him, but their expressions also grew a little more solemn. Apparently, they had already regarded Yang Ming as one of their hypothetical enemies.
