Gu Da's eyes widened in terror. Yang Ming held him aloft, leaving him kicking helplessly, unable to break free of his grip.
Just then, a pair of spinning black pinwheel patterns appeared before Gu Da's eyes. The same patterns emerged in his own eyes, rotating slowly as strands of mental energy seeped from his mind and were absorbed by Yang Ming bit by bit.

Fragments of bizarre, fantastical memories flashed through Yang Ming's eyes like frames of a film, from a wailing infancy to a tender youth, then on to his present adulthood. Before the lord of the Six Paths Reincarnation World, Gu Da's soul held no secrets whatsoever. Whether his previous life or his current one, everything lay utterly exposed.
There was no doubt that Gu Da had been Daigo of the Ultraman Tiga World in his previous life.
During a great battle, however, Ultraman had chanced upon a World Rift after a fierce clash with his enemy and been sucked into it.
The World Rift was anything but safe. Traps lurked everywhere within it, along with all manner of spatial storms and terrifying giant beasts roaming the void. Even gods dared not traverse the void in their physical bodies for long, lest they perish there without ever knowing what killed them.
As could be imagined, Daigo, a mere human, had been unable to withstand the ravages of those spatial storms despite his ability to transform briefly into Ultraman. His body had vanished, but his soul had escaped by a stroke of luck and crossed into the world of the Douluo Continent, where he was reborn as the petty thug now known as Gu Da.
