The Red-Haired Pirates Arrive

The Marine soldier stumbled over his words, breathless and panicked.

"A pirate ship?"

"Have they sent more reinforcements?"

Sengoku glanced at the soldier.

Sengoku had no other explanation in mind. A pirate ship could only mean more reinforcements for the pirates. With things already this bad, they could come if they wanted.

Besides,

was there any need to rush over in such a panic to report that?

But

the answer he got next left Sengoku stunned.

"No..."

"It's one of the Four Emperors..."

"It's Red-Haired Shanks's pirate ship..."

The Marine soldier caught his breath, then managed to explain.

He knew there was no need to report ordinary pirate reinforcements. Everyone was busy fighting off pirates on the battlefield. Why would he go looking for trouble?

the newcomer was Red-Haired Shanks, one of the Four Emperors. That made it absolutely necessary to inform Fleet Admiral Sengoku.

Three of the Four Emperors had already appeared at Marine Headquarters, though Whitebeard was dead.

If Red-Haired Shanks arrived too, all four would have gathered in one place.

It was an unprecedented event!

He was only a low-ranking Marine soldier, but he had to report this to Fleet Admiral Sengoku. If anything went wrong, he could never shoulder the responsibility.

"What!"

"Red-Haired Shanks?"

"Why is he here too?"

"What does he want?"

"Is every one of the Four Emperors coming to Marineford?"

Sengoku's face turned green. He was on the verge of losing his mind.

Whitebeard had fallen, but two of the Four Emperors were still at Marineford. So was Blackbeard Teach, who had killed Whitebeard, not to mention that troublesome Roya.

If Red-Haired Shanks, the last of the Four Emperors, arrived as well, wouldn't that spell utter defeat for the Marines?

As Fleet Admiral, Sengoku could not bear to see that happen.
