Background / History

Yunxiao and her younger sisters Qiongxiao and Bixiao took human form in the Eastern Sea after originating from three strands of Innate Cloud Qi. The sisters spent several centuries searching for an appropriate immortal island on which to establish their dao field. Their pursuit of an Innate Colored Cloud Butterfly led them into the concealed Penglai Immortal Island. 1

Upon entering Penglai, Yunxiao recognized the danger of intruding upon an unknown expert's territory and insisted that her sisters leave its treasures untouched. She formally apologized to Luxuan when he appeared, then questioned why an apparently powerful senior wished to accept three unknown newly formed immortals as disciples. 1 2

At Enlightenment Cliff, Yunxiao was drawn to a river-like Dao mark that revealed shifting cloud-water formations. She condensed her first Cloud Formation and confirmed her natural affinity for the Array Dao. After witnessing both the cliff's value and Luxuan's extraordinary comprehension, she was the first sister to solemnly accept him as master. 2 3
