Uchiha Yuu's rejection did not anger Tsunade. Instead, she looked at him thoughtfully, wanting him to explain what exactly was wrong.

"I observed the injured ninja being brought in. Their wounds differed in location, cause, and severity."

"Assigning a medical ninja to patients with minor injuries is clearly a waste. Ordinary nurses are enough to bandage their wounds."

"Also, I saw some medical ninja who were unfamiliar with injuries caused by explosions. That could delay the rescue of patients."

Uchiha Yuu clearly laid out every point and described the situations encountered in battle. This drew the attention of many nearby medical ninja. Seeing that he wore the Uchiha Clan's clothing, they looked puzzled, then thought of a young man from the village whose appearance matched his exactly.

"War injuries can be divided into three categories!"

"The first is blade wounds caused by kunai and shuriken."

"The second is damage caused by Explosive Tags and explosions."

"The third is ninjutsu injuries, mostly crushing wounds and injuries to the internal organs."

As soon as he said that, the scene fell deathly silent.

His theory was simply too advanced. In the past, injured people were sent straight to medical ninja for treatment. No one had considered the situation brought about by war.

Yet Uchiha Yuu had turned treatment into an assembly-line process. From injury, to entering the hospital, to sorting and identification, the entire procedure might waste some time, but once treatment truly began, they would find it far easier while also ensuring a higher survival rate.

This modernized process struck the medical ninja present dumb.

They were merely a group of medical personnel who kept out of worldly affairs. Whenever there was a patient, they treated them. That concept was deeply ingrained, and no one had imagined treatment could be made so much easier.

This would make medical ninja more specialized, familiar only with the areas they excelled in, but it would undoubtedly increase the speed of learning. On the battlefield, everything had to be simplified!

The scene remained deathly silent. They could even hear the sound of people swallowing. Tsunade, standing at the very front, slowly began to clap.

Soon afterward, applause rang throughout Konoha Hospital.

"Truly brilliant. I should never have backed down back then. What does Orochimaru know about Medical Ninjutsu? If I had taught you, your Medical Ninjutsu would be even better than it is now."

Tsunade's sigh resonated with everyone present. Sending him to the battlefield to kill enemies—how many could a Genin kill? But if today's process were put into practice—

It could greatly reduce casualties. Saving one more ninja meant one more measure of hope in the war, sparing more people the pain of death and separation.

"Go arrange the follow-up plans. I need to have a talk with that bastard Orochimaru."

Tsunade made up her mind. No matter what, she had to bring Uchiha Yuu to her side. If Orochimaru refused, she would let him know what the Monster Strength Fist was!

Orochimaru's squad had already been completely split apart. A member of the Hyuga Clan's main family could not appear at the center of the battlefield; that was something the Hyuga Clan head and the Third Hokage had discussed.

Nawaki remained by Orochimaru's side, mainly handling intelligence transmission.

His status was rather special. As the First Hokage's grandson, his death on the battlefield would cause no small amount of trouble.

And poor Uchiha Yuu, under Tsunade's forceful demands, was even less likely to appear on the front-line battlefield.

After discovering Uchiha Yuu's medical talent, Tsunade began teaching him the Chakra Scalpel and Mystical Palm Technique.

"These two ninjutsu are essential for the next stage."

Only a few people in Konoha had mastered advanced healing ninjutsu. Tsunade wanted to see where his potential limit lay.

Though they had no formal master-disciple relationship, Tsunade taught him nearly all of her most closely guarded techniques.

Whenever Tsunade thought of it, she felt she was taking a huge loss. She was actually painstakingly teaching that bastard Orochimaru's student. She would have to make him compensate her someday.

Yuu was locked in a little dark room. Before him lay mountains of medical knowledge, along with a vast number of Tsunade's insights from her own training. He had to master all of it in a short time—if he could not learn it, he was not allowed out!
