History

Li Chen arrived in the Marvel world with core League of Heroes members, though the organization was still a newly formed group with only a handful of members. He nonetheless presented it to outsiders as a vast cross-dimensional force, using selective truths and exaggeration to intimidate S.H.I.E.L.D. and recruit Tony Stark. 1 3

He first evaluated Tony by preventing Mash and Ulquiorra from immediately killing the Light Pull-Cord Monster. After Tony’s Mark V armor was destroyed, Li Chen freed him from the ruins with spiritual energy and later offered him League membership through a blue wristband. 2 3

As the League accumulated energy through monster extermination, Li Chen shifted from local defense to mass recruitment. His summons brought in figures such as Tatsumaki, Child Emperor, Annie, and later entire factions including the Hero Association, the Four Emperors, and the Gotei 13. 5 18 48
